Can you guys give me any good reason why being jacked or being able to bench press 315 is helpfull?

All u really need to is be lean and maintain 225 bench. 275-315 squat, and DL 365ish. y would u need to lift more than that? can any meat dummy here explain why? @GaryRidgway

at that point, ur stronger than 99.9 % of population. women dont care about powerlifters, ur crushing ur joints. i just ask, why?

get leanish and just workout with heavish but not too heavy weights. why would any male need to be stronger than benching 225 for 5-8 reps? srsly, ur retarded if ur over 30 and doing that shit.

anyway

Longevity+being practically strong( i say practically bc the lifts i posted are practical, not roid head numbers), and going easier on joints. misc is older now they should know better. we are not 20 years old

Even after adjusting for age, smoking, BMI, and cardiorespiratory fitness, men in the highest third of measured strength experienced a 33% reduction in all-cause mortality compared to the lowest third, and a significantly lower risk than the moderate-strength third (Ruiz et al., 2008).

A landmark systematic review and multi-center data from trials like the START (Strength Training for Arthritis Trial) show that high-intensity progressive resistance training (~70-80% 1RM) actually alters inflammatory disease pathways, downregulates systemic inflammatory cytokines, and decreases joint pain while improving mechanical function (Latham & Liu, 2010; Messier et al., 2013).

That's part of it but technique and training is also a big part. Most people are retarded and lift too heavy too often with bad technique.

also true. but if u know that much u also know u can not deny lifting heavier= harder on joints. but high reps can still get u big

if u want to remain in "good" condition for a long time u need to lift easier but intenser. think about ronnie coleman, dude cant even walk anymore, hasnt been able to since he was 45

For me, it is an ego thing. I am not going to lie. Back when I was working out with 315 pounds in bench, I would have people in the gym staring at me.

Neither is useful.

You would think that jacked would help with girls but girls are about hair and height primarily. If you're short and bald, doesn't matter if you're the most jacked man on the planet.

Benching is useless from a functional perspective outside of extreme niche cases like sumo wrestling or being a 400lb NFL bloatlord lineman.
Balding is death. If you have no hair, you have no life.

First time I ever deadlifted I hit 315x3. Couldn't do more because this was in a third world gym, it was hot as fuck and I was sweating like @p7nk at an ICE parade.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I didn't have a wife then. My now wife's weight hovers at about 135lbs when she's not with child.
