Jury Duty got canceled.

Never had to do it because military most of my life. Have only been summoned twice since I got out. Never even had to show up.

Kind of curious but also kind of relieved. I’d rather just rot and work out

I have Tourettte Syndrome and always use that as an excuse. Even though it's not a bad case and I take medication to control my twitchyness, I always write back to them:

"I have Tourette Syndrome that is comorbid with ADHD, among other things, so I would be unable to sit still, be quiet, or pay attention on a jury."

Then I include a copy of the diagnosis from my Neuroligists office. I never hear back from them after that.

My advice to anyone getting a notice for the first time...(usually a post card)....throw them in the trash.
Can never hold up since it's not certified mail....

My brother did jury duty for a murder case before....sounds like it would be pretty exciting in that scenario instead of some petty theft shit
