As a citizen, you have the authority to compel courts of law.....

You do not need a lawyer, you do not need police. Conducting your own investigation into violations of criminal or civil statues is constitutionally protected activity. You can collect evidence, prepare legal documents and get the court to take action. You can pursue compensation through civil suits, and you can even get bench warrants issued for criminal offenses.

The law is a neutral tool any person can use. If you understand it, and how it is applied, in and out of the courtroom, you can protect yourself from negative consequences of violating the law, and you can prosecute people who try to harm you. It is a little bit of an intimidating process in the beginning. However, there are plenty of resources to help you do it. Court clerks cannot provide you legal advice, but they can assist you with the administrative process, and they will.

Don't stalk anyone, or violate any laws while doing your investigation.

A form of blackmail is a fundamental aspect of this process. Cease and desist letters, or formal letters demanding compensation for statutory violations are not only appropriate, they will help your case. It will show you acted in good faith to resolve the issue prior to going to court, and they refused. Make sure the amount you request in demand letters, or from the court if it goes that far, is sound and based on law. Literally show the math on how you came to the amount requested.

The law is actually a great thing when you start to understand it. Have fun.
