Unpopular opinion: the internet is way more fun that the real world

I mean that's why we post here, read each other's threads, and reply back and forth

Likewise other parts of the internet such as watching videos and podcasts you like, reading interesting articles on wikipedia, etc

Most interactions in the real world are actually mundane and boring (talking about the weather, work, the latest sportball game)

Even being out in nature gets fairly boring after a while (trees, mountains, lakes, rivers...ok then what?)

Could literally spend most of the day on the internet and not get bored

Unlike if I had to spend it dealing with people or out in nature...would get bored soon

Which proves the internet is a lot more fun than the real world
