Why do people constantly slow down and speed up?

I hate this because I used cruise control as much as possible. Its a more relaxing drive to my wageslave job. Problem comes in when people ahead of me slow down, so now I have to deactivate cruise control.

for real though I've put a lot of thought into this because driver behavior in general infuriating

what I've concluded is people are just dumb and inconsiderate, unfortunately we have to share space with them.

1st come first serve. Problem is people making a right think they are safe, so they just roll through. Or they think slowing down to 2mph is stopping. Or its their turn, but they want to wave someone else on and fuck up the other three peoples timing. Top it all off with no one using turn signals.

I have a 3 way stop that looks like a 4 way, but no stop sign for me. The joy of rolling through that intersection and pointing and laughing at everyone who tries to "cut me" and has to stop because I'm not slowing down going 15.

Also people who hit their breaks to slow down on the highway with no one in front causes me to change lanes because I refuse to be led by retards.

I've thought about this often. I drive slow and steady. Logically doesnt make any sense to do otherwise except if in an actual race.

pretty sure its a personality thing. like some children run down stairs on christmas morning and others have to be woken up.

If there isnt anyone, you have right of way

If two cars facing each other ,first to stop has right of way

If you both stop simultaneously, car turning right or going straight has right over car turning left

I don't use cruise control because the highway I drive on is hilly and the cruise control doesn't adapt quick enough so I'm going slower at some points. I do a good job of keeping my speed steady myself though.

I don't know why idiots drive 5mph slower than the limit on the highway. And I don't care if someone is coming up behind you going 30 mph over the limit in the passing lane you're supposed to get the fuck over.

all you need is like 1 out of 10 people taking an extra few seconds diddling their phone. extrapolate this over hundreds of thousands of cars during busy times and you have a much bigger mess.

sometimes i'll be sitting at a light that's 25 cars deep and only 5 cars get through. you might have 3 of those people that take an extra 3 seconds to realize the light changed and get going.
