I bet, love somewhere near streams. Unfortunately, the spots i find are off the beaten path. Lotta primitive sites near streams but they tend to be rite off the main dirt roads. I usually have 2-3 nice spots i maintain, built firepits, mow, spray weedkiller. The one nice spot i had they just hauled logs out so this summer was shot for that place.

Ya, gotta be smart for sure. Ive had bear absolutely destroy my campsite because I was young and retarded and drinking heavily nite before. Left cooler of food out and mountain pie makers etc. Slept thru it all. Now I put all food in my yeti and in my truck, nothing inside yert food wise. Burn everything off cooking grates. Haven't had a bear since.
