It makes sense that the father was arrested seeing as how assault and battery is illegal and taking pictures in public is constitutionally protected.


People are allowed to take pictures of children in public. If you try to stop them, you are violating their rights and you can get in trouble.

They don't just grab a kid and rape them, it's a process.

He's at the park, snapping pics of the kids, observing who's noticing, observing which kid belongs to which parent, observing who is really watching their kids and who isn't, observing the patterns. maybe then he can start "being friendly" to some of the kids and gain their trust. That's the grooming. No laws broken at this point.

There is morally/ethically right and then legally right. In this case, the Iron Manlet is correct from a legal standpoint. If he's legit endangering kids, or that's his intent, obviously ethically he needs his ass beat, but you can't legally do that. You also have to give some benefit of the doubt, can't just go swinging unless you're nearly certain.

If it was blatantly obvious and undeniable he was taking pics of the kids - keep on smackin.

Also a chance he was just taking pictures in general and it got taken completely out of context and was just some random taking his nephews to the park or whatever, no grown men should be hanging around kids parks unless they're with either own kids or a relatives.

If he was there with no kids of his own that's a red flag enough to deserve the ass beating
