Get out of Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace... this is what the rest of the city resembles.



If you are a tourist thinking of coming to the UK, just dont bother with London. Bath, York, and Edinburgh are the top 3 touristy places you should go.

I can confirm, my visits to London have been less than impressive. Expensive as fuk for something not that much different than NY. Will make note to visit those spots OP. They close together?

Bath and York are about 4 hours from eachother. York and Edinburgh is about 2 and a half hours.

Some more honorable mentions would be roman town Chester which still has loads of old Tudor buildings








If you're looking for the best nights life id advise Liverpool or Manchester. Both are within an hour of each other, a lot cheaper than London and has many universities so there's prime pussy available.

Solid choices with Edinburgh, Bath, and York.

I prefer all of those 3 over London. London has a similar vibe to New York City if that's what you're looking for though.

Stayed in a hotel in Whitechapel right next to the East London Mosque. Got that room for like $200 USD / night, split with 2 other people. Didn't feel unsafe at all, especially compared to some US cities.
