I think this argument needs to stop being used.

It's literally the same thing as hindsight in gambling. Sure, if everyone had known that the roulette ball would've landed on 10, everyone would have placed their bet on 10.

You can lose all your money in crypto at any moment. It doesn't help cryptocurrency in general that vendors don't want to use it as a form of trade.

BTC is only as high as it is because of a few major investors. Without these investors, BTC itself and every other ALT would have very small returns, if that. I think BTC has hit it's ceiling. No more major investors. It's all down hill from here since no one uses BTC as trade. Watch the money dwindle.

I read a story of a guy who bought around $200k of Eth at the $13.50 price after doing a ton of research on it. He begged his wife for their house deposit etc. She trusted him and he then sold the approx 14 thousand Eth he had for $1k each. Made $14 mil. Sold them in small parts so he didn't set off a panic sale, but he expected the ass to fall out of the price at any second when it was up there. Balls of steel - but he could of lost the lot let's be honest. I've made a little out of crypto, but it really is still a gamble.

In retrospect I shouldโ€™ve loaded up again, but mentally committed to just buying and holding in 2017, and not going overboard.
