I go to a powerlifting gym where the women are repulsive so I recently got a guest pass to la fitness and was disappointed to see nothing but old boomers there.

What is the secret, what am I doing wrong?
the secret is in this thread, look at gym like a playground and lifting as something fun you GET to do vs something you “have” to do, if that doesn’t come naturally to you fake it til you make it and psyche yourself up to look at it as fun playtime. personally I always found it fun ever since I started working out seriously years ago and it was easy for me to stay motivated long enough to become a habit, in your case just use whatever self talk you need to tell yourself it’s fun until you form a habit and just go to gym on autopilot

I think of it as a videogame where i put all my stats on strength and none on charisma and as a result became a miscer.
