Yes, he has been in a lot of Oscar worthy movies...playing secondary characters and riding the coattails of great directors and an A list cast. As a top billing actor. the only worthy movies are the Bourne series, Good Will Hunting, and maybe the Martian. When was the last time Tom Cruise played second fiddle to anyone?

Cruise and Damon are so far ahead of Smith it's sad. Smith has 1, maybe 2 career defining movies.

Matt Damon
Tom Cruise
Will Smith

The Bourne series is the goat for me. Only movies I can sit back and watch time after time. The bad boys series was good but it's behind Mission Impossible for sure. Will Smith has also had a lot more bad movies than the other two.

thats not what OPs question was. He asked who has the best movie catalog. Clearly Damon does.

Unfair way to compare, considering Will Smith had Fresh Prince & his music career that both warped his net worth compared to the other two.

To answer OP:

Damon
Cruise

.
Will Smith

The only Tom Cruise film to rival Good Will Hunting & The Departed is Collateral, most of his films are average imo. I'm yet to see The Martian but from what I've heard it'll just solidify Damon's place at the top of this list.

Cruise has the potential to be the goat moviestar auf his generation. Damon has also a fantastic movie repertoire - will smith on the other hand isn't even near both of them. And his son deducts some points, too.

Cruise. And he's still fun to watch in the MI movies.

Smith seems to have lost some of what made him great. i feel like he needs that bad boys 3 to be a real fun rated R action movie type (like #2) to remind everyone of what he's capable of. or maybe he's kind of done with all that.

damon i wouldn't put in the category of the other two. never was a big fan and never seemed like the same kind of blockbuster draw that Cruise and Smith are/were.
