I'd take theFREEmillion dollar house. I can't believe how many poverty miscers say they wouldn't be able to afford the property taxes. You're living mortgage and rent free. You can't afford $10k to 20k per year for your total home expenses?
Maybe property taxes are crazy high in other parts of the country. I live in a half million dollar home and I pay under $4k per year in property taxes.

Lol at the miscer bashing the house.
It's MORTGAGE FREE, and surely if something goes wrong with the house, it can be fixed. Anything that ends up needing some fixing, either do it yourself, or contract someone you know to do it for you.
At this stage in my life, if I had to simply take care of the maintenance of a home and not worry about the mortgage, its a done deal. Property tax is one thing, that'll always be a kick in the balls, but thats once a year. Now if mother nature decided to blow my house down, then I'd be SOL too, but at least I have a stable environment and solid roof over my head.
Oh and if I can't sell the house, I'll simply rent it out to people and make extra cash flow while I live in a different place.
Miscers are literally retarded.

Stuck between cash and the house.
A $1million home is gunna be huge. The upkeep on it, utilities, taxes, most likely HOAs, etc.
Standard payment on a $1mil home:
-$4848/month. $3781 (Mortgage and Interest, this would be 0). $1,000 in taxes.
So you'd spend about 1k/month to pay just for taxes there. Not including HOAs. Utilities on a place that big? Ha, easily could be another 1k/month. Furnish it?
Just having an empty 1 mil house with no mortgage, you still need to be making good money. Repairs, etc. You're going to rent it out? Who in their right mind is going to rent out a million dollar house that can afford it? They'd be paying a chitload, unless you charge way cheaper. Then you still have to worry about upkeep and chitty tenants, potential property management company.
There is a lot more to owning a house than just the mortgage. The mortgage is one part of it.
I already have a STEM degree, not from Ivy league but it has helped me in my career.
Already have a family with a HBB mother to my kid.
I'd take the $350k and payoff or buy a house I can afford. Anything left over invest. It really depends if I sat down and ran the numbers if I put 20% or more.

Soulmate... materials don't equate to happiness.. Love does
and the pursuit of knowledge in my opinion, but a degree can be obtained over the course of time unlike a loyal and loving significant other.

Couldn't afford to keep the house or cash, so it basically boils down to $350,000 or a 10/10 loyal soulmate.
I'd take the 10/10 soulmate, it's more rare and harder to acquire.

This may be heavy on the mind but;
Since you cannot resell anything you get. Theoretically you could not use the degree from Ivy league to get money because you're reselling that knowledge for compensation.
So you'd get an education to help out pro bono?
I would take the house if no property taxes. It would be this one:

Many Christmases ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.

10/10 loyal soulmate.
Why do people have big houses, fast cars, STEM degrees from Ivy League and cash? They do it to attract potential partners. Whether they are aware of it or not is a different story. Will they admit it? Probably not.

So.. I think a workaround would be:
Choose 1 mil home, pay a doc to confirm you dead for 10 seconds, revive you. Then sell house?

I dont need a house that big, dont feel like paying taxes and all that other crap, anyone who can afford rent on a million dollar house will more than likely just outright buy one.
STEM degree, mehhh I dont have any interest in anything that deals with STEM.
10/10 loyal woman... Yea right lmao, cringeworthy reading the guys that even consider this.
I'll take the cash, I could get outta debt and relax a bit more
