This those cops should be fired, you're supposed to be a professional, you're a public servant. The guy was not resisting and appeared to follow commands when he surrendered and they just tag teamed him. Obviously the guy is a dip**** for running from the cops but he deserves a payout for that.

Because the general public is crap and 99% get what they deserve no matter how media spins it. This doesn't look deserved unless he just got done killing children. Then he should be dead.

Watched the gif probably a dozen times and it didnt stop being amusing. Shame the guy will probably win some srs cash for this. This is exactly what I want my tax $$ being used on actually.

lol at thinking you can lead the police on a high speed chase and then just raise the white flag and escape unscathed.

the guy speeding is obviously jerk and deserves an a good butt whooping but the cops are in the wrong and it will be hard for them to justify their actions. the cops involved will probably be on paid administrative leave and the police department will have to cough up some money for violating this man's rights.

It's because people are nuts. Anyone can do anything at any point. When cops let their guard down, they can get popped, stabbed, etc.

This guy deserved this, but they shouldn't have done it. If I was in their position I would want to destroy the guy too. BUT I wouldn't. It isn't worth the media coverage and the guy is down and defenseless at that point. Let the justice system do the rest.

Being a cop would suck. It is easy to have 20/20 hindsight, but you don't know how you would react in their situation. My buddy is a chicago cop and he says the hardest part is just being aware of the surroundings and being ready for anything.

Most cops I have come into contact with have been awesome. The only **** cops I have seen are on youtube videos, and half the time person instigated it.

Maybe this will help put into perspective how stupid your original post was
She was dressed slutty and provocative
Reason #1
She was flirting with the guy and really drunk while kissing him
Reason #2
Of course the guys going to rape her, she totally wanted it and she got him all worked up

Which I agree with....

He does deserve a good ass beating though. Endagering lives is pretty serious. Just would not beat him like that. That was pretty rough to watch and while he was defenseless and on the ground....

I agree with you bro. What I think the other guy was saying is that cops are people as well and have emotions and want to be saviors in a way. Allow me to elaborate:
-It's your job to protect the people.
-You pull guy over for _____ reason.
-He takes off breaking multiple other laws. Swerving in and out of traffic, almost hitting multiple cars and other people. You see horrified looks on peoples faces as you pass by and children in cars this @$$hole almost hit.
-As each moment passes your frustration builds as this guy won't just fukkin stop and thinking he is going to kill someone.

Your mindset is this god damn fukker has to pay. You lash out on him. I'm not saying this is right, I don't agree with it either, but I can definitely understand their frustration at times. THis is why I don't think I could ever become a cop.

You deal with people mad at you all the time. People don't look at cops and are like "Yay!" Like people feel about firefighters. Most look at cops like, this is the @$$hole that gives me tickets and is always on a power trip. They literally deal with drama of society.

Anytime I have interacted with law enforcement, it's always been alright, cause it still sucks getting a ticket but that is besides the point. I am, polite, communicate with them, work with them and go about my way. I've had cops thank me for being polite and working with them and they have changed the charges of the ticker from speeding to defective tail light or some chit.
