is there a scale we could look at for reference? I made A's in high school without ever studying, and did ok in College, but i had to be in 6th gear the entire time. I no longer was able to write papers except for anitomical kinesiologya nd biomechanics because it was basically just repeating facts and stats that others have already published. Eng comp and Creative writing...man i was terrible...

Edit...looking at other posts, i can say that my IQ is around the 120 level. Ive was tested in high school and once in college

Scored 132.. Tbh it really just depends what you want out of life. Want money? You dont need a high IQ for that. Want to earn a fields medal? Then yeah you'll probably need a high IQ.

Not to mention, it's doubtful that this exam is an indicator of how smart someone is. How do you even define smart? And does it matter overall?

137 IQ checking in. 100% srs.

Have taken the IQ test 4 different times and every time it ranged from 134-140. Was classified as top .1% in school ever since 2nd grade. (Couldn't test me sooner since I had a speech problem)

I went to a "world class reputation" whatever that means...I'm assuming you're referring to USNews rankings/whatever schools people jizz over. To be honest it's not at all indicative of intelligence - everyone's guaranteed to be at least slightly than average, but that's about it really. Some geniuses here and there though to be sure

Also OP id take godly social skills over IQ any day within reason. Life is mainly about family, social/intimate relationships, and money. All of which do not need IQ

Got 110 on 4 mg on ***** lmao. Guessed on the last like 8 questions due to running out of time. Real IQ is 140. Wouldn't put too much stock into that test, real mensa tests are not like that one (I've taken one before).

Never gonna take an IQ test. I don't want to give myself an arbitrary limit.

I'd much rather judge my intelligence by my abilities/accomplishments.

Edit: I wouldn't put too much stock into an online IQ test. The OP is obviously not retard level IQ as the test said. I don't know how a single test can truly gauge a person's mental limits without taking weeks to perform. I'm about to take boards for radiology and that's a 13 hr test split over two days - and that's just medical knowledge.

This. IQ doesn't mean **** except at the extremes (ie under 80 or above 140). One of the best physicists of all time (can't remember who exactly but I read it on wikipedia) took an official IQ test and they declared him to be mentally retarded, yet he accomplished more than 99.999% of physicists with supposedly extremely high IQ's.

If you take the real Mensa test it's only pass/fail and they don't score your "IQ." You go to a testing location and the test is on paper. LOL, this online quiz is jokes.

My best friend is the most street smart guy youll ever know.

Someone times i think if he has more genuine friends than i have reps.

He's always happy and works as a tradie making 200k at 21.

Instead I have a high iq 120+ (140iq measured when i was 12-14) but im depressed miscer that doersnt know what he wants to do in life and is always critical of any option he could take which ultimately leads me to choose nothing and waste my life playing vbideo games and miscing.

Trust me when I say iq is not everything. It's only one measure of intelligence and not an indicator of your potential in life.

Social, emotional, creative intelligence are all equally as important in life and all levels of intelligence are based on your upbringing as a child. My friend's dad is a physicist and forced my friend to see maths as the most important subject in life. He started doing differential calculus at 13 and guess what? He has an iq of 150 but conversely he also has aspergers, few friends and few hobbies outside maths.

Also, like anything in life you can train for it. Neuroplasticity is very real so the more you train the better chance you have at increasing your iq.

Cliffs: youll make it bruh

every iq test that i have ever taken has always scored me as 130 +/- 10. so you might just be a potato op.

that being said, intelligence is relative to subject matters, and isn't important in all aspects of life so take the results of iq tests as a grain a salt.

It is just simple pattern recognition. Split up and group up the 8 sections into rows, columns or diagonals in your mind. Then it is clear what the missing square will contain. It will follow the trend of the previous squares. Asides from the last couple questions which I had no clue on. Others were pretty straight forward I think.

did your test OP, didn't go too well, bad sleep/wake cycle ruining my fkn brains, couldn't answer the last 2 questions in time, but im pretty sure I found the correct answers for the rest, scored an 135 today.

The best test I ever scored on was raven's progressive matrices, which is also an unbiased pattern recognizing IQ test, scored a 162 on that first timealso I am a psychology student aye

There are some online IQ tests with that aren't any different than what psychologist use for studies.

The IQ test you just took was a measure of the g-factor or fluid intelligence, which has a lot of predictive validity in all aspects of life and has a strong positive correlation with every more specific intelligence test, like brain size or reaction timing.
