Nope. I don't understand why people always use hypotheticals. Germany WAS overly ambitious because of Hitler and that's that. There is no what if or what have you. Germany had amazing generals but Hitler thought he was the german god or some **** and overruled so many decisions. Germany could have completely decimated Britain, yeah, but then they still had to deal with many other countries. Russia was a BIG deal.

There's honestly no bigger cope on this earth than how people try to rationalise these nukes. If one innocent American is killed by ISIS there's people literally crying on TV and demanding revenge. But 200,000 innocent Japanese murdered and decades of birth defects and radiation poisoning and it's all, "well their nation became economically successful afterwards so maybe these nukes were just the leg-up they needed!"

No different than Allies firebombing or even just dropping regular ordinance on European cities.

It put MAD (mutually assured destruction) into place. Fools. You do realize people who have no real affiliation with any country create all the wars with their puppets in order to destabilize and then provide solutions thus gaining more control.

Japan raped Asia and set the entire continent back a century. They were as disgusting as Hitler's Nazi Germany, and maybe less diplomatic. Australia and New Zealand would have been Japanese imperial trophies if they had gotten their way.
Japan had the opportunity to give up. They chose to wield the figurative tanto and force seppuku for their people, and the U.S. became an unwilling kaishakunin.
You're ****ing welcome. We crippled a rapist in the act, the blood of their innocent is solely on their hands.

They raped an entire continent. They murdered somewhere between a 3,000,000 and 10,000,000 Chinese during the occupation. They willingly sacrificed those in the target cities rather than admitting defeat. They wanted to kill as many allies as possible until they were forced into defeat -- they foundhonorin the deaths of the 'innocent' that were nuked. At least we had the common decency to warn them and give them the opportunity to save lives.
They gave morality no such quarter.

What's with the post-war white guilt brahs? elsewhere in the world people don't even feel the deep remorse over what they've done. What happened in Hiroshima does not even compare to what the ****ing turks did to armenians and pontic greeks, who feels guilty about this? not a turk, but mostly westerners and white people.
My grandfather was a Mongolianbrah that was on the wrong side of the fence and he got conscripted into the chinese army, he still agrees with the decision and even believes that the nukes should have taken out major population centres.

It was a cut-throat kill or be killed scenario. I'd cringe to see how our generation would handle a big war.
