went to one of these types of clubs for a friend's birthday once.

Absolutely fuking pathetic the people who flock there.

Same behaviour described above. brb 500$ for a bottle of vodka that is 30$ in the liquor store. You gotta be REALLY fuking dumb.

pretty interesting vid

seems like people back then had way more outspoken identities
no bull****ting with phones
better music
half the people drugged out of their minds
STRONG fashion sense

also the girl at 25sec onwards strong resemblance with Sandra Bullock, even the ages match haha

This. You make your own fun, OP. Your own party. Girls will gravitate towards you and you'll have a blast.

It's a problem with this generation. Everyone looks to external sources for fun - iphone, xbox, movies - then when those items aren't there, you're boring af.

Sounds like you just went to a chit club.

If you go to normal places, and avoid the "VIP" section, you can generally avoid this kind of ballbaggery

There are always threads every week about "getting yucky with the boys", usually it involves 19-25 year old miscers getting bottle service to try and impress women and because tv shows teach them that's what's "cool".

Had similar experience few weeks ago. Went with gf to her cousins bday at a high end club. Just consisted of all the sloots standing there taking selfies around the guys tables who had bottle service. Then guys would order half a dozen bottles and the chicks would start cheering. Gf and I were like wtf. We had a decent time dancing but the dj was random AF, so hard to get into it. Her cousin ended up puking in bathroom with her friends helping her. So we bailed, went to bar and got wasted.

Social media has changed everything with women. The female brain is hardwired for socialization, and this social media stuff amplifies it 1000x. It's like crack. If you took a phone away from one of these girls, they could not survive a week. Their whole lives and support networks revolve around it. It's the same as porn or addicting video games for guys. It's literally the same thing, just the female version. 100x more addicting and pleasurable than world of warcraft or opening 37 pornhub tabs.

I walk in and the first thing I notice is the girls are dressed like complete sloots, this is a good thing.

At regular bars it is easy for me to strike up convos with girls, and get looks from girls. The girls were only interested in the guys with tables and bottles. You could of been brad pitt and they wouldnt bat an eye unless you had "bottle service".

Every other girl is on her snap chat taking videos of themselves dancing around and singing the words to songs. Saw on more then one occasion groups of girls posing for group pictures and doing 10-25 re do photos to get the perfect angles.

Groups of guys buying multiple $500 bottles of booze for their tables. Then girls all line up to try and get a seat at their table. Once they get to sit next to these guys they ignore the guys and take selfies/snap chats with bottles of booze.

The whole scene honestly felt like the filming of a movie where there is a club scene. No actual socializing going on. Just split second choreographed scenes for selfies/snap chats/ videos of fake "fun."

I have known for years that social media has had negative effects on our society, but this took it to a whole new level.
Lol @ still going to clubs at 29

"high end" isn't really a good term to describe an open night club. a term like that would better suit a members only club, like the Soho house.

i got on the guest list on them, managed to get in and it was by far the best night life i've ever experienced in NYC. knew the bartender, so free top shelf drinks, everyone was actually socializing since everyone was usually on the same social ladder status, and overall a really good time.

went over to another nightclub called PHd, on the 11th floor of a building, and it instantly became a scene where guys 25-28 years old would have a table, maybe a 100k/year job, and kept buying bottle after bottle.

And considering $2k is a reasonable number to expect to pay for table/bottle service a night (sometimes a lot more), if a guy does that once a week thats 104k a year.

Every time I've tagged along with a group that's getting a table in nice NYC clubs every table kept to itself, probably mostly because its so loud you can barely hear the person right next to you let alone at a table 10 feet away. You could do the same thing at someones house then hit a concert afterward for some real music/dancing.

I want to invent a selfie-stick that has a hidden pepper spray dispenser. Every time some clown tries to use it, it maces them in the fukking face, then immediately snaps a picture and automatically posts it to all of their social media accounts.
READ THIS: You know how your Visa gift cards usually end up with $0.63 left on them, so then you carry them around for months before you eventually just throw them away? Well, Tarck's here to tell you that most charities have a PayPal link on their website where you can quickly donate that balance (even if you don't have a PayPal account). It only takes a moment and it beats literally throwing money away. Thanks for your time; we now return to your regularly scheduled cuckold and FA threads.

it was probably 3-4 guys total.

was just funny to see the city life in that way, in NYC. people really throw around money like it's nothing.

drunk guy at a table, finishes his champagne bottle, busts out a couple racks of cash ready to buy another but his gf had to stop him cuz he was way too wasted.

lol this reminds me of the phenomena i saw in a post or meme somewhere that went like "girls be taking pics of their expensive ride, their wonderful dinner, their fun adventures, but never be taking pics of the guy who they with". i'm convinced it's just some rich ceo

seems to exemplify how many gold-diggers there are obsessed with this fake culture

This was my exact experience in Vegas with my buddies. We bought a couple bottles and a room for $500 a pop and sloots would roam room to room come in sit on our laps and be all friendly taking selfies with each other then turn insta-bitch when the bottle was getting low and we weren't buying another one, then they left.

This is one of America's biggest problems and big reason I don't live there anymore.

This. I prefer clubs because i can actually dance and have a good time instead of just sitting at a bar. Don't get me wrong, there's nights where i want that bar type atmosphere, but it's seldom.

What do people expect? Clubs are full of mostly 100% status driven bitches. If you want to get laid, you just need to know people, and there are better ways of doing that other than cold approaching clubs. People mostly go to clubs just to claim they did it, and unless you're ballin, you're not keeping anyone's interest.

As for social media, I deleted all mine years ago, for many reasons, but I'd just say I don't like the pressure of social status some times. Plus, most people I hang out with have it, so I just use theirs to stay relevant.
