I have tried posting in here about this before and I dont know if anyone can see my post.

Basically, about 1 out of every 5 or so posts I do I cannot see after posting. I can see on the main misc page that I posted, but if I go into the thread it's like I never posted anything at all.

Has happened a whole bunch. I also have noticed that sometimes when I see someone else has posted in a thread (from the main misc page), when I go in there I cannot see their post either.

I mustn’t be the only one surely.

Thank you for reporting this. No indices needs to be updated for a post to appear - it should be instant. Indices do however need to be updated for the main forum to show it. This leads me to strongly believe that browser caching is the culprit. I will submit a patch later today and let you know.

Hopefully fixed in v1.3.7. Let me know if this issue persist.

Fix the layout on PC browsers. Left aligned is super obnoxious... I'm just realizing it fits the site name.

I dunno, that means monster0ultra will continue to post embarrassing shit about himself, delete the thread after catching shit from other users, and because no one screenshots anything he gets away with it

He did that with the thread about driving 200mi to bang a hooker, only for said hooker to be hairy and her beat the shit out of him and steal his wallet and keys - he had to sleep the night in the hotel lobby and call his mother to drive a 400mi round trip to pick him up

Question , probably a dumb one. When you go to a thread that’s several pages , shouldn’t you be on the last post when you click on the thread instead of at the beginning?
It would be kind of cool if that option was in settings tbh

Not dumb at all! This makes sense for threads you have already visited once. I actually think it might make more sense to return you to the last read post.

Rep recharge is taking a really long time. I'm at 32 hours and counting since I was last able to rep someone. On old misc it was every 24 hours. Thx.

Edit: 36 hours and counting and still on recharge

I know things need limits but I wish we could discuss the rep system. I hate only having 5 a day. maybe 5 reps? 5 negs? a day. Idk haha. maybe it gets difficult if the recharge is dependent on the amount of reps/negs. or maybe something that tracks them? then it can be something we can see and conserve lol

A few days of work. The tricky part is how to avoid hitting the database too hard. I cache the most recent post for each thread, and that needs to be checked and potentially refreshed on every post delete.

Yes, I have received several request to increase it. I am dropping a patch in a few hours.

I will increase the number of reps per day. I am open to changing the rep recharge time as well, but let's do it in increments.

The YT age restriction is on the YT side. It is outside my control, unfortunately.

Hi again. Turns out a patch is not needed. I've increased the number of reps given in a day. It is effective immediately, so if you ran out, you have more now. I agree that the original number was probably too low.
