always wearing steel toe boots when I mow the lawn in the future.
I was only supposed to do the ride on mowing so I chose my sneaker. But I made good time so I decided to just finish everything up right then a there which lead to this issue. I normally wear my hiking boots when I cut the lawn. I dont think the hiking boots would have survived the mower, but i may not have ever slipped.

No promises. I sent my toe tip back with my wife but I might be another day here in the hospital. My foot is a mess

So normally you'd get a nerve block for that kind of injury, and not just IV morphine. Maybe ask about that?
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

So I never finished medical school because of financial issues. But I still know a fair amount. With regards to pain management, Drs will do the bare minimum because they don't want to be sued, OP has to speak up if he's still in pain.

Give the brown stuff a rest. It's starting to feel as if you have a gay fetish you're trying to repress.

You just want continue derailing this thread. You're a barely functioning retard. If I ever saw you IRL, here's what I'd do. I'd tell you, "let me get a McDouble with Big Mac sauce and extra onions, and a small sweet tea. That's all, thanks."

Maybe. I'd even offer you a Gatorade. I treat my tradies right. It's the least I can do, after all they're sweating their ass off while I'm in a comfortable ergonomic chair with the AC on sipping on a Dr Pepper Zero while making 4-6 times their income.

I honestly can't even understand how this can happen. You're behind the mower, how do you get in front of it and have it run you over?

the worst part about cutting trees for a living is a lot of it is done in hot heat so it encourages u to not wear the typical PE gear like chainsaw leggings. been doing it 8 years and still no major injuries. summer is brutal for us

Yea, I bet. And being under time pressures to get it done faster, so you might feel guilty if you're not 'out there 24/7'.
