Bad knee crew. Havent squatted more than 2 plates in years. Volume can be challenging as hell tho. Have you tried to run a 10 x 10 volume? **** is brutal.

One a different note, there's another reason why I enjoy volume training: while training to increase max can lead to issues with egolifting and subsequent damage to your body, volume training is an exercise is patience and mental fortitude. It really is like a form of meditation to be at that moment of absolute exhaustion and finding with every last bit of everything you got to squeeze out another one.

This thread makes me giggle.

Miscers always say "go heavy" for everything otherwise you can't build chit as a natural and yet here we are with proof of high rep range and now everyone is saying "ya fukc lifting for your ego, I always go light and build muscle better that way!"

huehuehue u guys funny/

So you gonna prove to me lifting light weight builds physique when you lifted heavy previously to build physique? Make sense.

You don't grow in the gym, you get weaker in the gym, but you create the demand to grow in the gym. You grow by refueling, rest, etc. You can create that demand a variety of ways, light weight is one of them, agree. Most successful aesteics workout schedule I've ever done is lifting moderately heavy during day, then going back at night and repeating all your lifts much lighter weight on high reps. You should only do this when you're <8-10% body fat. It is one of the most effective ways to gain muscle and burn fat. I've told many of my friends my secrets to my success, but no one has the balls to follow through.

u have better genetics than me is all im saying. when you're doing like 50-75 lbs lighter for less reps, and getting better results... yeah. it's ok im still strong and have some results, etc. but it sucks obviously.

I actually stopped training for roughly 6 months, i have a pic of me in january this year on my phone and i will take one tomorrow after i train to show you my results of this style of training.
I am not preaching i am just showing my results from this different training method, which works really well.

I don't do "powerlifting style" training at all.

Rarely do sets lower than 8 reps for anything, love higher reps too (up to 32-48 sometimes).
