We don't allow American arms manufacturers to sell weapons to genocidal war criminals even though we know they're still going to get guns from someone else. How is this any different?

Hypothetical: A pregnant woman goes to a supermarket each day to buy a head of lettuce. The same cashier works there every day and notices she barely eats and it's really bad for the baby. Should the cashier have the right to refuse ringing her up unless she buys more food?

Seems like your argument is that a woman shouldn't be allowed to do anything that is possibly remotely dangerous to her kid before it's born. Fully disagree with that. I think women should be able to do whatever they want with their bodies until the baby is born and able to live on it's own (but that's a whole different discussion)

However drinking is risky and completely unnecessary. If you can't try your best to keep your baby healthy for 9 months I'm not persuaded you're ready tu have a baby.1, 2 or 3 drinks in one night isn't gonna harm a baby, and a bartender doesn't know how much a pregnant woman drinks.

This really rustles me. The same idiotic pregnant feminists fighting for their "right" to smoke and drink while pregnant are going to be on social media trying to garner sympathy because "OMG, it's SOOO hard being a mom with a special needs child!!!"
I've LMAO several times at a bar when whales with pronounced beer guts get denied service because the bartender mistakes them as pregnant and they flip out. Maybe this ruling was the result of some whale having this happen to her in NYC?

Bartenders have a responsibility when serving alcohol to patrons who might be dangerously intoxicated or pose a risk to others, and this is undermining that by forcing bartenders to bend their better judgement.
"You're too drunk" is fine, but "You're too pregnant," is somehow crossing a line to any reasonable person? Yeah, her body, her rights, her kid's life, and it wouldn't be a shock if it became everyone else's tax dollars.
But hey, that's regressives for you: don't you justmissthe good ol' days in the 50's when a pregnant broad could smoke any damn time she pleased?Progress!

ROFL, is this trollception? Did someone actually compare abortion to this law? LOL. Stay dumb.
Oh and I would never serve alcohol to a pregnant woman no matter that law, and in fact there should be a law to ban breeding for anyone who thinks it's fine. I wish there was a clean way to take away their baby, because it's probably the only chance it has to live a normal life and grow up with sound logic/intelligence. Law-makers are basically criminal in these liberal states, give me 1 year of leadership you watch the biggest exodus of trash the world has ever seen. Giving birth should be a privilege that is earned, there are too many potatoes in this world.
I'd have a form everyone would fill out. One of the questions would be: "Would you drink alcohol if you were pregnant?" "Would you give alchohol to a pregnant woman?" If they X yes then they hop on a special boat to an island.

This is when the freedom of an individual is taken too far. It's impossible to know how much the pregnant woman has already drunk which is probably why bartenders previously had the right to refuse service out of fear of harming an unborn child and the litigation that could follow.
I know someone who's parents were raging alcoholics and they have all the visible signs of fetal alcohol syndrome, Aspergers and other issues. It's no joke the effect on that childs life is ever lasting and damaging.
If I was a bartender I wouldn't feel comfortable selling alcohol to a clearly pregnant woman, that isn't discrimination it's my morality telling me I could be doing something wrong.
