This was a biuriful read OP!
it's better to suck dink than to be killed

"My outer appearance was poor, but in this way my inner world became richer than anyone else's. Was it not natural that a young boy who suffered from an indelible drawback like mine should have come to think that he was a secretly chosen being? I felt as though somewhere in this world a mission awaited me of which I myself still knew nothing." --Yukio Mishima

Addiction is largely a behavioral problem. When someone has an addictive personality, it doesn't mean they're more likely to become addicted to drugs, it means anything.... Drugs, work, food, fitness... In the latter, it can be used for good, but it becomes almost like ocd if you let it. Addictive personalities pick something and use it as a carrot at the end of a string or a constant carrot bottle to nurse on to falsely solve life problems. Best you can do is try to misdirect it towards something relatively positive and try to keep them level headed about it
Lifts:
Squat: 460x1
Bench: 400x1
Deadlift: 575x1
OHP: 250x2
Weight: 180 lbs.

Don't have heroes; look up to no one. Because as long as someone's leading the way, the best you'll ever be is second.

Nice job OP...i find myself becoming less judgemental as i get older. Some fat people have no excuse, but there are also some who do that need/want help. It's all about trying to bring out the best in someone and inspiring/motivating them. Poverty reps to you sir.

mindblown that people don't know that depression can lead to binge eating. same thing happened to me when my mom died. i blew up around a hundred pounds within a year. i was 200lbs by age 11. i would say most fat people are stressed out or depressed people.
There is only one Hell: the one we live in now.

People who judge others are just compensating for their own insecurities.

Personal story here. Best friend used to be a stud lineman in high school and college. Guy hit 1200 lbs in highschool and we even cleaned instead of DL. Total freak of nature. Fast forward 8 years and he gets diagnosed with Non-hodgkin's lymphoma. Goes through 5 years of treatment, body has taken a beating. Gets motivated, comes to gym with me for first time since being diagnosed. Hops on bench, can't even push 95lbs out 1 times. Some little stinger wearing athletic crew wannabes are laughing at friend. He leaves gym basically in tears bc he is basically starting from scratch and didn't realize how far he regressed. Told him he has a legit excuse and sooner than later he'll be right back to where he was before his cancer. Chew out little ****s (can't even bench 2 plates themselves) for being judgmental *******s who don't even know the truth behind my friends issues. Fast forward 2 years, friend now reps out 315 like cake. Anyone who judges someone solely off of looks and doesn't get to the know the person is a POS.

Isolated incidences etc, I agree that you should not judge straight away without sway from the judgement but smart people can judge safely and usually be 90% correct. I have my first impressions and judgements on people, I am usually correct however I still keep my mind open and give them a chance to show themselves. Either way, making educated assumptions at first impressions/appearance is still safe and fairly accurate. On a related note, you shouldn't feel forced from guilt to enter a relationship if that's what some friends are trying to make you do, at the end of the day be honest with yourself, but also diplomatic when rejecting.
