Not gonna disagree. Every station is biased. Such is life. Everyone around you is biased by their beliefs, their upbringing, their friends, etc... It is impossible to find a completely unbiased source of information. Bias is built into every human's subconscious.

It is only natural, however, for people to seek out news outlets or information sources that share their values. Hence why conservatives mostly watch Fox, liberals MSNBC/CNN, etc...

It's just hilarious when "intellectual superiors" like holtmcg come in acting completely unbiased and denouncing fox as this evil, biased, brainwashing news source when in fact EVERY news source does the same thing.

For anyone to call someone a "conservative zombie" for choosing to watch fox is like calling out a Christian for reading the bible, calling out a Muslim for reading the Quran, or calling out a Jew for reading the Torah. It's complete bullsh*t. People seek out information based upon what they believe to be true. It's completely natural.

Probably the key reason the country is so divided today. Conservatives/Liberals go into their echo chambers, reinforce theor own beliefs, and start to think that everybody thinks the same way. That's possible today because there are so many different media outlets. It's not like the 1980s where you had only network news and everybody had to watch it.

Maybe Fox news has more viewers then the liberal alternatives COMBINED is because most people are stupid.....or maybe because given ONE station that entertains other perspectives people are interested.

I don't think people who watch CNN are stupid. I just think they may have a different take on things then I do.

Neil Cavuto and Kennedy (Fox Business) are pretty good. I watch them whenever I can. Brett Baier, Charles Krauthammer, and Chris Wallace are pretty good too. Greg Gutfeld is hilarious. Megan Kelly is pretty punchy. O'Reilly and Hannity are just plain terrible. They have to be acting... nobody is can be such a by-the-book neocon IRL.

I also watch Bill Maher and watched the Daily Show when it was still on. Plus I read a lot of articles from the general media (not off the Fox website).

Basically I use right-of-center Fox to fill in for everything that the left-of-center media leaves out. I have yet to find any single impartial news source.

It's best to get your news from print because print sources have been shown to be much more informative.

I do get a variety. Breitbart, Drudge, 660 AM, Huffpo, etc...

Drudge by itself is quite a variety. It pulls from hundreds of news sources.

Why not choose a news source that delivers simply the facts and no commentary? I know we all love to hear things that we love to hear but doesn't it make sense to hear the opposing side to better grasp an ideal or situation?
