We actually have a lot less social spending than we did 20+ years ago. The 1996 welfare reform curtailed social spending by making it temporary while unemployed and requiring recipients to work to get more assistance.

We also have a substantially larger population than any European country so doctor's are always busy and in many places there's a lack of certain types of specialists.

Actually it doesn't chit on the majority of the world's healthcare.

The NHS is dying. A product of ever more bureaucracy, immigrants, Marxism and a complete shortage of investment into producing more doctors and being competitive enough to keep them. Coupled with an entitled and unhealthy population that have no incentive to be healthy and no incentive to work and pay taxes.

The fact you seem enthused by every person potentially costing the NHS more than they pay in, shows what a startling lack of economic knowledge you have.

The NHS will not exist in 10 years because it is not sustainable. Do you want to:

A- Pay more into it through taxes? Knowing full well you will be covering the shortfalls of others who don't pay.

OR

B- Drastically cut them amount of people coming into this country and using the NHS? Because we have a population that is growing by 1,000,000+ a year through immigration and is expected to have grown by 11 million in by 2025.

Yet you made the statement that European healthcare and socialist systems are so great. Greece is in Europe.

The same socialist systems currently being exploited by mass Islamic immigration.

You made the point that Greeks don't pay taxes to contribute to social services and Greece is bankrupt as a result.

Then you continue to espouse the virtues of the NHS, a system that is collapsing because many of its users do not pay taxes.

The Euro is currently 12 cents stronger than the U.S dollar. Also, just because a currency has more purchasing power doesn't mean it's superior. The U.S economy is producing 17-18 trillion this year ALONE, with a population of over 300 million people, inflation is necessary to keep up with demand.

ITT Instantloser lays down logic and those who have no logical thinking ability get mad.

I love when people use European countries to insult the US system but then quietly ignore the fact that many European countries are failing (Greece) or on the brink (Spain, Italy) because of a system that doesn't work/isn't sustainable.

I hate US healthcare more than anyone as I've been fcked over from it numerous times but if you think government run health care is the answer, I point you to the VA system. The most godawful, useless, piece of **** health care (government run) on the planet. Absolutely garbage. I mean fcking GARBAGE. Good luck with that national health care gents!

No, it isn't. I linked the definition of free from Webster's Dictionary. If anyone pays for it, it isn't free. Just because you stole money from taxpayers through the use of government force to pay for your medical bills doesn't mean those taxpayers didn't pay. That's why they're called taxPAYERS, ffs.

lol if you think the situation in America is that much better. High unemployment, incomes not rising for anyone but the top percentiles, joke of a healthcare system, low education performance, high crime and incarceration, overworked unhealthy rude people.
