The guy was determined to end her life. If it wasn't a gun, it would've been something else. Recently in Japan an Idol was stabbed 20 times at an event.

I came across the perfect video for this subject earlier.

While he provides multiple facts, I think number 3 is best used in this case.
- Our founding fathers wanted every citizen to be armed equal to the army in case of takeover by a tyrannical government. They wanted us to have protection from them.
- It's a deterrent against foreign invasion.

Nobody owns "assault rifles". You probably can't even define what that word means. AR-15 is not "Assault Rifle 15", it's Armalite 15. So what exactly is an "assault rifle"? Fully automatic weapons are so expensive and require so many background checks that almost nobody owns one, and nobody is using them in shootings like this or otherwise. So what's your problem with a weapon type you can't even define exactly? AH yeah.. because they "sound scary", and you don't like guns, so it's a great opportunity to run your mouth and try to steal someone's property, & curtail their 2nd Amendment rights.

TL;DR, fuk off.

What's terrifying is the fact that people identify a gun as a problem.

You can have 10,000 armed people in a room together and they can all party down for a few hours then leave with no shots fired.

Guns are not a problem.

The problem is human being deciding to use violence.
The muscles i value most are the ones directly surrounding the spine, the hips, the scapula, the femur and the tibia... in that order.

Basically the whole body minus chest and biceps... pretty much the opposite of what your local gym looks like on a typical Monday.

So what's something you would describe as a "Freedom" you have, that we don't have? Other than guns.

You can't even buy Kinder Surprise legally, *******

I think it just boils down to simple facts

In the UK, the vast majority of people don't have guns, so other people don't have guns.

In the US, the vast majority of people do have guns, so other people do have guns.

The problem is now beyond control. Laws won't work. Guns are too ingrained in culture and upbringing. The problem will only intensify as people arm themselves further in response to situations like Orlando.
