Oh dude my boss has been amazing. Basically told me to take more and was happy that I put in for it. He has brought over a few dinners and kicked it with me for a bit. Super thankful for him. He got a bunch of my coworkers to give me pre-made dinners to help out.

Day 20 since the accident, 19 since surgery. Pain has been pretty manageable for the most part. I get some sharp shooting pains, burning sensation and tingles on my foot still. All point towards nerve pain. I did wake up this morning and saw that I had a bit more necrosis on my stump. I wont lie, it freaked me out a good deal. No smell, no puss, no fever, no redness. I still called the surgeon and they said to just keep an eye on it. They said that they aren't worried and they will expect it to heal from underneath. I see the doctor tomorrow anyway so ill get him to physically look at it then. I realllllyyyyy dont want any infections.

back from the doctor. He said that the black spot that appeared is eschar. Should flake off in the coming weeks and be a bit raw. Also got word that my rods will be coming out in 3 weeks then I can start physical therapy. Good news is that I will be only non-weight bearing for another 2-3 weeks after the rods are out. Happy to hear that ill be back on my feet by mid August. CBRO out
