Both men and women are forever alone these days. Srs.
It used to be just a man thing, but it's also effecting women too.
Wageslave 8 to 5 with 1 hour commute
Gym
Get home at 7
Eat and video games/doomscroll
Sleep
Repeat
There are a lot of normal men and women who lives said life.
Its honestly a scary brutal cycle. After college you are 100% on your own. Working retail is a great social experience, but pays peanuts. And you can no longer marry coworkers like Boomers used to.
I will be 36 soon and trying to break this before the point of no return. Srs.

You can't date coworkers in retail?
Why can't you just do it without telling the boss and if it gets serious then just transfer to another store or rival brand store

In an ideal world, you'd live off retirement funds and work part time retail to smash young sloots.

It's really apparent people yearn for community out in the wild. Going out to do anything on the weekends, I've made so many friends and romantic connections that started as small talk with somebody else doing what I'm doing.
Especially in this digital age of AI ubiquity, genuine human connections are like crack

There are number of women that get upset that I don’t give them attention lol.
We all lonely out here.
I would suggest it is on purpose.

Personally I think the endgame is to make us dependent on AI so they can use it to influence us even more. First they got everyone hooked on personalized social media algorithms and as AI progresses they will get us hooked on it too. It's already starting..I've had clients say things like "AI told me that my shitty business idea will change my life and make me rich" as if it were a Wall Street valuation. Tons of loonies in this world that can't think for themselves and tech companies are perfectly positioned to execute Order 66.
Dark times ahead.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

You gotta find hobby-centric meet ups if you wanna start a social network. Groups that get together over... gardening, or bicycling, or entrepreneurial interests, rec league sports, whatever it is. Theres pretty much something for everything these days. You can easily find info on the times and places online. Just pick some things you'd be willing to participate in and go to the group meet ups. Then from there you can find some people you click with and see who wants to go to the bar on the weekend etc.

I mentioned college and retail are the best social experiences but you can't stay forever. We all leave retail for careers that pay well, unfortunately you cant flirt with coworkers or else you get fired.

Good. Many of us saw this coming since a decade ago. Normalized ghosting, taking advantage of ppl then blaming mEnTaL iLlnEss, being 2 hours late then yelling "hurr durr i dont owe u anything!", and all the other slew of BS behavior is catching up to everyone. Fuk em.

The idea that the average man was happy 500 years ago or even 100 years ago is a delusion.
The average job was digging a ditch with a bunch of other grunts spreading malaria and cholera amongst each other. Or working grueling hours in unregulated factories where loss of limbs was common. Or manning the oars on rickety naval vessels where becoming shark food was an accepted occupational hazard. Not even to mention the fact slavery itself was standard for the vast majority of history.
And your wife back home was a plain hag with no access to modern grooming, hell she probably didnt even wash daily if she wasnt upper class. Imagine the smells.
The reason the future unfolds the way it does is because people make the decision they prefer newer ways over older ways. But once each generation gets separated from the ways before their time, they lose perspective on how harsh things actually were. And they start to imagine it used to be better when it wasnt.
Think about what youre proposing as dystopian. People with safe lives spending time playing video games and having food delivered to them by the government. Thats what past generations would have called... utopia.
If youre not satisfied, you have to accept some responsibility for changing that. Everyone is different, therefore by pure logic there is no government or economic or social system that can make everyone happy. Because that means different things to everyone. You have to take your fulfillment into your own hands.
