Mindblown that people DONT own dashcams for their car (srs)
When i picked up.the tessie i literally instslled it in the parking lot.
Its just mindblowing people dont buy a 100 at minimum investmenet for their car when it could prove their innocence.
If your in any minor accident and you know its a broke fggt wo will lie you dont even need to engage with them. Just snap a pic of their license plate and give your insurance the video and let them handle.it.
I got a dash and interior camera. Interior to show if i was not on the phone and record my interactions with police plus you can video of the side windows.
When it comes to auto sccidents like 90% of people will straight up lie to the police and their inusrance.
Why dont you guys own a dashcam?

Probably like 6 weeks ago, I was pulling down a residential street next to a main road, and there's this car parked in the middle of the street next to a park with its hazard lights on and trunk slightly open. I pulled up behind it and stopped kinda just waiting to see if the person was going to move, and then within a second some fucking cracked out lady jumps out of the drivers seat and comes out of the car and starts giving me a stare of death and screaming at me. I thought she was going to try to block me in, but I managed to quickly maneuver around her and turn onto the main road and she kept like chasing after me and screaming like some drugged out lunatic.
I assume she was trying to run some scam and try to claim a fake accident or something. But I didn't stick around to ask. I know a drugged out crackhead when I see one.

I got a speeding ticket by some corrupt cops a few years back , and had gone over 40 years without one . If I had a fking dash cam I could have beat it . Still kicking myself .
The cops put there lights on before I even got to the construction zone sign . Like these fks we’re lasering cars from over half a mile away and claiming they were in the 50 km zone while still in the 100 km zone .
But seeing as the local judge probably drinks beer with the corrupt cops ,there’s no way I could beat it without proof .
And to make matters worse the construction zone was closed due to rain, so the cops set up a trap because no construction was in the way.
OP I thought these Tesla’s already had cameras all over the place? Anyone have recommendations for one that records forward and has a second camera to record the driver so you don’t get an illegitimate safety belt fine ?

Had one and it messed up and haven't gotten a new one but srs it's on a priority list. I was in an accident a long time ago where it was "no faulted" because even though he pulled in front of me and I t-boned him, he argued that I was going "so fast". He was older and I was 20 years old and looked about 14. Another one, a cop gave me a ticket for speeding and if I had a dash camera it would show he was full of chit. Dude at my work got fired because he caused a wreck with a customer's vehicle and tried to claim something else happened but the other person had a dash camera and you can see how he wasn't' even looking. Wouldn't have gotten fired but because he lied about it, he was gone.

I got fked over in a speed trap by some corrupt cops . If I would have had a camera I could have shown the judge that they put their lights on when I was still in the 100 km speed zone and not in the construction zone yet .
