why the fuk is it so difficult to get good sleep

srs up until my late 20s I was able to sleep whenever the fuk I wanted and would ALWAYS get 8-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I could have ate junk food all day, sat on the computer all day with no sunlight, barely stretch my legs, go to bed at 3am, and wake up at 11am-12pm feeling completely refreshed

nowadays i wake up at the same time everyday regardless of when i go to sleep. It will always be between 6 to 7am. So unless I'm going to bed at 10PM, I am not getting good sleep.

it's not just the timing either. If I don't get morning daylight, don't eat healthy, or drink alcohol or smoke weed, you can best believe I'm going to get a chit night of sleep; tossing and turning and waking up due to random BS.

This chit fukking blows

I don't think i've ever gotten refreshing sleep after turning thirty. Best you can do is be consistent and not drink and that will have you feeling the least bad in the morning

seems like sleep goes down with age until you're really old...more obligations, responsibilities, kids, wives, work, etc. the real peak is summer vacation if you were able to stay at home and before old enough to work a summer job. stay up late playing video games and wake up at noon to watch jerry springer
