Why am I not anxious about being single and unsuccessful at 42 like a lot of guys would be?

Guys see other men with big homes, wives, families, respectable careers or businesses, wealth and they lament how they haven't achieved that

I'm basically the same guy now at 42 that I was at 22, just older

Didn't do or achieve anything of value in those 2 decades

Something tells me I should care

But if I don't care at 42 will I just because more time has gone by?

Like at 50 am I suddenly going to regret it because I avoided people and relationships, didn't make any effort, and just coasted with no agenda
