I called customer service and their AI representative said...

"I am sorry for the inconvenience"

I cringed some

How can a machine feel sorry?

Then I realized other times I had called customer service

And when I had finally gotten a real person on the line I was also told the exact same "I am sorry for the inconvenience" from a person who was reading off a script

They had transferred that same script from human to AI

When I was call center customer service we didn't have an exact script just certain things we had to say within every call
