Sometimes when a student pilot is getting ready to solo, the instructor pilot will not tell them exactly when it is happening.

My buddies instructor pilot got out of the plane on the runway, after an approach and told him it is time to solo lol. It was a private airfield. I wanted to make a joke about that but the rage just took over.
