This. Also why all these wars to force regime change are a waste of time and taxpayer money. Once the dust settles it won't be Americans/westerners living in Iran, it will be Iranians, so let them live and govern themselves as they see fit. Not to mention it creates a ton of instability in the short term that makes it easier for terrorists to recruit people.

Kind of funny that Republicans who are fiscal conservatives have convinced their base that it's a good idea to spend taxpayer money to force middle eastern countries to install liberal democracies.

That Elon Musk quote is patently ridiculous.

And let's be real, if the US existed in a time when they could have gotten away with it, they would have been massive imperialists. You've literally just in the past two years tried to take over Venezuela, Cuba and if the UN didn't exist, would have happily taken over Greenland as well.

But taking over a country like Israel that provides zero benefit to the world? Nah, they're good.

Who are we the "good guys" to? Middle East? North America? South America? Europe? Asia? - who has a positive opinion on America right now?

They love our people, our movies, our culture, our music, but they absolutely hate our government.

It's one of those things, where the US COULD do a lot more. As of now, really just striking targets of direct military value, but the US could start striking a lot of other targets that would cause a humanitarian crisis at a minimum. Trump threatens to, but doesnt. Reality is, even Iran knows this.

well muslims aren't a problem as much as they are thee problem. they have no sympathy for non-muslims. everything they say "religion of peace" is what koran means for example, is countered by realworld experiences.

they have no real economies other than the business of taking over. there are no products other than oil and hummus that the world cares for. even their labor is tainted. did you know some US companies hired tons of muslims and all of them peace-out 5 times a day to pray...... so what? what's your problem maaan?..... well when 100 people leave to pray at the same time how does that effect productivity? who cares its one company???..... how is this behavior playing out on these entire regions/countries? lower gdp and wars and mayhem.

so the answer is starve them until they relent.
