What is an ideal after work life for a single man with a typical corporate job?

Assume the guy makes good money and has a corporate job where he's up at 7AM, at work at around 8:30, and after hitting the gym, gets home at 6:00, showers, eats dinner, and has some free time at 7:00.

What's the optimal way to spend time?

I mean what can you do SOCIALLY, not talking about staying home and picking solo hobbies.

Drinking is not an option, and you are in your mid 30s.

Now that I'm knocking on 40 I think the simple life really is best.

-Monday to Thursday after work focus on gym to lift weight 2-3 days per week. Either BJJ or Muay Thai 2-3 days per week.
-Fridays: Quick workout or martial arts session then out to a dinner with either girl/friends/family.
-Saturdays: Outdoors recreational activities that are season/weather appropriate.
-Sundays: Morning church service with family/friends. Then go back to the house and BBQ or have a cook-out for the family & friends Just relax, eat and socialize. Meal prep for the week.

Seasonally:
-Fishing, cast netting for shrimp or running lines for crabs. Fry/boil them with friends/family.
-Hunting and cooking up wild game with friends/family.
-Taking a ride on the motorcycle on roads or ATV if on trails.
-Mountain Biking.
-Kayaking.
-Boating.

Vacations:
-Hiking spectacular mountains.
-Scuba diving and snorkeling.
-Beach & related activities.
-Skiing or snow boarding.


Obviously nearly all of these activities can be done solo or with friends. There are a ton of people who do these sorts of things and typically if a person does multiple of them they really have to have their shit together. So by default you're hanging out with a higher tier of friend. It really doesn't matter if you're religious or not I think that's the best way to spend a Sunday.

This is my mindset too lol but realistically I got the most girls when I was out of shape drinking every week.

They do care, I took a chick to the beach last weekend. She showed up early and I had nothing except my swim trunks on getting my boat ready. Her panties were off before we got a chance to go to the beach.

If you're big into athletics, joining an adult team sport is a great way to spend your time. The greatest years of my life were in my 20's playing in a competitive baseball leagues. But even something like indoor soccer would work. Especially coed, some of the women who play soccer are gorgeous.
