Why is sitting in your car so oddly comforting?

Growing up, I knew adults did this but didn't realize how comforting it is. You can sit in your car almost anywhere and still feel comfortable and at peace. I sometimes arrive early to work just to sit in my car for 15 minutes.

It’s not for me. I got robbed at gunpoint sitting in the car in my early 20s. Been paranoid about sitting idle ever since. Even red lights give me anxiety srs.

Sitting in a car for long periods of time always looks sus to me. It's akin to sitting in a playground watching kids when you don't have any.

Your car is kind of like your second home when you think about it. A mobile home if you will

Yah I’ll park somewhere with the roof off. Throw my hammock up in the back between the roll cage and chill smoking a cigar

Can’t do that with anything else other than a JEEP. Gotta have the DEWALT fan going too

Tinted windows and don't sit in a ghetto area.
