The only part of Michigan I’ve been to is Detroit lmao.

Would love to explore that beautiful state someday when I’m not busy wage slaving.

I literally climbed this last Summer. It took about 25 minutes and I was sore as fuck for the rest of the day.

The worst part is that it's sand, so you keep taking a step forward then sliding back. If it were packed wet sand it would likely be decently easy.

Regardless though, the run down is super fun, and if you lived near this and could climb it every morning as a workout, you'd be fucking jacked in no time. The toughest part is that it's a full body workout on the way up, so I was using muscles that I hadn't used in a while.

It's pretty fucking steep. That photo in the OP is from out in the water, and it looks much steeper when you're on the sand looking up. Obviously if you had some crazy stamina and were in great cardio shape, sure. But the thing is that it's actually steeper closer to the bottom than the top, so you're going to get fucking winded before it levels off.

I see vegetation on the sides . Could a person not climb there in order to make it a little easier ? I’ve seen videos about this ,and they put up signs at the top stating it will cost you 3K if they need to get search and rescue out to get you up

Just found a video . That’s steep AF and that sand would definitely be brootal

The sea grass on the sides in actually just very soft powdery sand, so it's harder to climb over there as you get no traction with your feet. The easiest is to hit the packed down tracks that other people have done.

Ha, believe it or not there was this hot blonde college girl climbing right in front of me. Super friendly and I was looking at her ass the entire time going up.
