damn, back in the day, like for Titanic, The Matrix - you had to queue up and buy your sh*t. in 97/99 i dont know if the internet was around for tickets. i dont think you could buy using a home phone.

used to love visiting the cinema, the anticipation of all waiting together for a new release. and check out the hotties, potentially see people you knew also going there or to another movie. working some game on some slooties

none of this buy your tickets online and then just walk through

better times

wouldn't be surprised if a ton of left leaning organizations/NGOs just bought thousands upon thousands of tickets and just got a tax break/company deductions on the spend - so it didnt cost them anything anyway
