Love that they're taking back to WW1, but it looks like they haven't captured the sheer grittiness/horror of trench warfare from what I've seen in the trailer.

WwI game with an American on the cover.... Lol.

Millions died before the USA entered the war.should of been a German, Russian, Austrians Hungary, British, etc solider. And their fighting ability is irrelevant against an already nearly dead foe.

Fair enough, but how many African-Americans fought/lost their lives as opposed to people with a white ethnic background? There's one reason and one reason only they've chosen this as their cover.

I don't mind the black soldier. But the cover looks way too futuristic and sci fi looking. I think they should have chosen a vintage WW1 style portrait showing all theaters of combat.

Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

why? because of a wiki quote lol? how do you know any of that is true? did you witness that particular infantry unit being the "toughest"? no you didnt.

history is nonsense when its comes to commending soldiers, everyone just gives their soldiers the most praise. in canada they teach us that the canadian infantry was the best, in england they teach that their infantry was the best, and so on.

not that i care about whos going to be on the cover of that **** game though, just arguing for arguments sake.

They still need to market the game to younger people even though its a WW1 game.

Because its a story that hasn't been told? Haven't you seen enough world war games with ONLY white people in it? Or do you not get enough of seeing fukking you om a screen. I mean chit man, i havent heard of that african american group before. I rarely get exposed to chit my own race did unless I actively search for it xD

But I digress, I think they did this because it's literally just something different, and untouched

Like that trench club would have no leverage and the spikes are massive so would barely penetrate EDIT: i'm just nitpicking because the proportions are off

real ones looke way more fkn gnarly

also , why is he so clean? , it's a pose like a jaded warrior except he's completely clean and has no helmet when the biggest killer in that war was artillery and it's shrapnel.

that being said I'm excited for the game. If you want a really good book on WW1 ( Actually interesting and doesn't read like a history text book) I would recommend this
