Thanks man. I paid a little over $2k which is on the low end but they didnt wrap the door jambs, etc.
This is my first wrap so just wanted to test out it's durability etc before I pay for a professional job on one of my other cars.

Kind of fun to be able to change the color without touching the factory paint

Thanks man. Should last 1-3 years, thats one of the things I want to test for....durability.

Nothing will ever compare to a good paint job as you cant get the depth of a real nice pearl in a wrap but it looks pretty darn good.
To put it in perspective, to lay a professional paint job on a car to be up to standard would be $10k+.

Paint costs 3-5 times more than wrapping.
Good quality wrap can last up to 4-6 years without issue
The benefit of wraps is that if you get a nick or ding you take it in and for maybe 100-150$ get a new piece of wrap put on.

Holds up just as well as paint. New better quality wrap will not sun fade, you can go through touchless and bush type automatic car washes with no issues.

Clean is the exact look I always go for. I think too many people mod their cars these days and throw the kitchen sink at it. People wrap their cars in chrome blue or something crazy that jumps out at you. I try to mod my cars subtly so yo know theres something different but it doesnt scream at you.

I always hope to achieve that, Im always trying to find that balance. Sometimes less is more.

Passively drop "kid"? I am older than 90%+ of posters here on the MISC thats a fact. Its actually the exact reason why I spent time here. To stay in touch with the next generation's reality.
I playfully drop the term "kid" acknowledging that I am the old guy on the forum.

As far as bragging, I give unique perspective or am sharing something unique based on life experience. So if you are not doing those things then what are you doing? Would you rather everyone reply to threads with , LOL, GJDM, post pics of standard women found off of google etc?

Been debating on wrapping my car with a burgundy satin...its either that or some new brakes if I can get a decent set around 4k but a decent set at 4?

Definitely appreciate the perspectives. 100% did not mean it that way at all. Its crazy how much you learn by these types of interactions.
In another forum there is a 74 year old guy that is super hip, super fit and doesnt look a day over 55 (SRS)
He started multiple businesses and is now retired living in Hawaii. He gives out life advice all the time and uses the term "kid" to us and I always thought it was cool/funny (more like the "you kids stay off my lawn" attitude

If it is seen mostly as condescending then I will refrain from using when i am addressing people I dont know.

Looks good man.
Took me awhile too. Trick is to find a good installer that wont bend you over for $6k or something crazy. The reason you want good is for the small details. When you open the doors or the hood how do the lines look. MOST importantly you dont want them cutting into your clearcoat or paint when trimming the vinyl.

I really think its fun but would honestly spend the $4k on a brake upgrade as that will stay with the car for longer and is more "functional"

Someone explain to me how the hell paint can cost $10k?

What kind of crazy ass paint are they using here? Or is it all just overpriced labor ($1000/hr or something)?

But love the wrap. Was considering doing my next car, but have been turned off by **** jobs ive seen. Yours has definitely changed my perspective though.

Wrapping the Lambo?

Not usually a big fan of wraps but this looks really clean. Don't know if I like the splitter on the big beamers though.
