I don't want Idris Elba as Bond. I think we should stick to the normal script. Bring in someone new, and build him up as a new culturally iconic bond.

Tom Hiddleston, maybe Richard Madden, They're mentioning Tom Hardy, and Jason Statham, but they don't really give off a bond vibe at all.

Legit, I think Craig was far superior as Bond to Brosnan. None of that cheesy poncey bull****. I actually hate Hiddleston, but he's favourite with the bookies to be the next Bond so it'll be years of women going crazy for that effeminate loser.

Craig is the type of guy that deserves the mantle of Bond. He just had the nasty/gritty "I don't give a ****" attitude that was so refreshing. No real cheesy lines. Just brutality.

Tom isn't "manly" enough. He's alright in the night manager, but he doesn't have that pop. Idris fits the narrative, I just think it would be too much outside bullchit, and the franchise would suffer.

Then there is no series if he isn't 007. I don't care about the ethnicity, just as long as he fits the narrative of what Bond is. Idris fits that, I just feel like your opinion would be a widely shared one, and the franchise would suffer. As a bond fan, I don't want that.
