I think I'd prefer Everett over the other two, but not by much - who's on waivers? Probably no-one better, but just in case...

Cooks has been matchup proof these last few weeks.
Sorry man, looks like I may have cost you just a couple points with this advice. Hope the rest of it worked out for you, Jefferson had a down week unfortunately

Flex: ?

Bench: Lance, Mattison, Amon-Ra, Mooney, Stevenson, Ingram, Freiermuth, Akers (just added him as a flyer this week just in case), MVS (currently in an IR spot, but can drop anyone above (likely Mattison since Cook is back) to activate him if I want).

I drafted Lance and have been holding him all season thinking Jimmy GQ would be benched eventually and Lance would be an easy QB1 with his rushing stats, but now that this is happening in the championship week and Burrow is coming off a 50 point game that won me the semi matchup, I'm thinking I have to stick with Burrow.

For RB, Ingram is obviously just insurance against a Kamara covid list addition. Otherwise, I won't play him, and Mixon is a must-start, so RB is set. For WR, AB is a must start, and Devonta is finally emerging as the #1 option, so I'm not benching him.

For flex, I was really hoping to have Sanders as the lead back in the #1 rushing offense to use in flex, but he's out. Who is next man up? Leaning towards Amon-Ra. He's been fire on my bench for a month now, but I've been waiting for him to fall back to earth in that dreadful offense. But even with a no-name scrub QB last week, he got his numbers, so I'm thinking he is actually getting QB and matchup proof. MVS is a hail mary play with very high ceiling and zero floor. I'll consider him as a higher ceiling than Amon-Ra if my early games flop, but I'm scared of the zero with him, too. I think Stevenson is better than Harris and there is a chance RB-Belichick will fool everyone again and run him 25 times instead of Harris, but you can't count on anything with Pats RBs. For LAR, Henderson is out, so if Michel gets the Wu flu, would Akers become a must start? Or would he still just have a bit role in his first game back. He's obviously not startable if Michel is active.

Thoughts?

this was a title win for me and i appreciate the help you guys gave me on this forum. this is always one of the best places to go because i get some decent back and forth here vs using other platforms where people play favorites or lean towards recommending guys just because they have them too.

having said that if nick chubb drops 50 tonight i lose, but i just don't see that happening

i went WR/WR in the draft and that really shaped the rest of my season. it led to a lot of work at the RB position because guys like montgomery, edmonds, mitchell etc all missed significant time. had to always be aware of backups/handcuffs and all that. but devante adams and tyreek at the top of the lineup won me a lot of games. mark andrews was absolutely huge too.

Looks like I've taken the ship in my BML. Unless Cleveland's D puts up 45.

I got lucky the other guy had a down week as well, and that he left Penny on his bench and opted for Swift instead.

With Penny in I'd only be up by 6 and have legitimate concerns over tonight's game.

Glad I could help!

I benched Penny at the last minute for Edmonds because Conner was out, but Amon-Ra has bailed me out. I'm on ESPN in a two-week playoff format, so I have a small (like a few points) lead going into next week which is always interesting...

Won the ship in my league!

Ship roster was Herbert, J. Jefferson, J. Chase, Swift, Ekeler, M. Andrews, McLaurin, Prater, and Tennessee.

Highest total of the season. Had doubts after Henry’s injury, but pulled it out.

Are you in an 8 team league or do you just have crazy keeper rules?

10 man league with draft. No keepers. Went RB heavy, and got Chase in the 11th. Turned into a huge pickup as the season progressed.

that was my initial thought especially if he had henry plus ekeler. i don't see how that team got put together unless he was drafting with potatoes

i was in a 10-man and ekeler went 12th overall. henry went 2nd. skeptical...

Chase falling to the 11th sticks out more than any of the other picks lol.

Ekeler is also a steal in the mid 2nd but none of the others are that hard to believe.

Would have been stoked leaving the draft with that team of course.

Reports in training camp were that Chase was struggling with routes and holding the ball and was viewed as more of a "project" for impact this year than the other rookies (i.e. Smith & Waddle), especially with Burrow looking rusty coming back from the ACL as well. He slipped way down all of the redraft league drafts I did as well (not sure if all the way to the 11th or not, but not anywhere near the top).

I'd definitely take a late round flyer on him. CEH, Jones, and McKinnon all stink, so there is a hooouge opportunity in KC for someone to take the backfield and finish as an RB1 on the season. I thought Ealy would move ahead of Pacheco when they signed him as a UDFA since his tape is so much better in college, but it looks like Pacheco is the break out rookie. The door is open for him.
