Imagine batting Murphy 5th and D’Arnaud 8th in the opening day lineup as if they actually think Murphy is an offensive threat and not a 9 hole hitter.

Glad that D’Arnaud made quick work of exploiting that dumbass decision, even though it won’t stop it from repeating in future lineups. Though it did at least flip it in todays lineup.


Also lmao at Braves have the best offense. We have 3 below average hitters in this lineup (Arcia, Murphy, and Rosario/Ozuna combo) and dare I say two of them are likely automatic outs more often than not.

That's true. They may only be top 3 or 4. Phillies, Padres, Houston, Atlanta

Not sure. The silver lining is it was all contained to 1 inning. You ignore it and he pitched fine in the others.

We’ll see…. Can’t be walking that many people. Especially walking in two runs for that matter. It’s not like they were beating him. He was beating himself.

Soroka is going to take it from all of these guys anyway so I wouldn’t plan on him being a key piece of your team anyway.

Was just surprised I actually got him with like #10 or whatever it was. Then saw no one else even put one in on him.

Oh **** I didn't see that. I clicked on waiver offers this morning to check and it wasn't listed there. I figured you snatched him in the middle of the night. I guess they only show under waivers if there's multiple claims.

That's why I think they could use bumgarner. Their best pitching prospect has a future value of 45, so even if they make the majors they aren't going to be great.
