That looks pretty awesome to me for a 14 teamer! Having your top 2 RB's being rookies would make me nervous but certainly the hype on both of those guys can't be completely off (Gibbs in Detroit worries me a ton more than Bijan though).

I always feel like the more crappy yahoo talks about how you drafter the better your team actually is, I'm pretty sure they hold not drafting 2 QB's, DEF's, and TE's against you pretty badly. It's ironic that yahoo has a near monopoly on fantasy football but still has such bad algorithms when it comes to judging that (and for that matter when it auto drafts).

yahoo always kills you if you don't get a backup QB because it's 250-300 (or more) points not on your bench. it's all formula-driven anyway.

gambling on Bijan and Gibbs as starters will be fun. i'm in on both for sure. I don't like Jones at QB at all, I know he ended up scoring top 10 numbers last year.

I like the team besides DJ.

love Reek and CD together. i don't think zeke elliott will do much in NE so Rhamondre should be about the same as he was value-wise a couple weeks ago. i know the zeke hype train picked up and it hurt Rhamondre's ADP but i don't buy it.

breece at RB2 i'm real concerned about. i don't like going into a season with a guy we already know is limited. yes the narrative is by ~ week 7 he should be 100% but you aren't guaranteed that at all.

personally i'd be starting perine at RB2 until you see Breece look like his original self, and I'd probably start Montgomery over London. London is a nice player for sure but hate that offense in the air.

i'm not killing your team by saying this but you can tell where you took the big QB at the price of some depth in the starting lineup in a 10-man. it's tricky.

Yeah I was pick 6 didnt like it RB went wild before meGot Hill- Then Bjian Barkley henry chubb jacobs pollard where all gone- Had to pick between lamb mixon aj brown wilson aaron jones.

Then Najee and gibbs went before me in the 3rd- So I went Hurts- I could have had metcalf, devonte waddle ridley but locking in QB 1 seem smart.

Then round 4 was Stevenson or mattison pierce or cook.

Round 5 Was between Hall, Walker, Sanders Akers,
Round 6 went waller could have had sanders or rachaad white mike william or jk dobbins.
Round 7 was drake london- I guess I could have had terry mclaurin or tyler lockett
round 8 montgomery

The RB early run got me I would have loved. Hill pollard then Devonte smith Stevenson but all the names got ran out

the only real disagree i have here is going breece over Kenneth Walker. but there aren't any wrong answers right now. I just like KW and I think he's being slightly underrated with a lot of assumptions about the rookie they took and him being a violent runner (he is, but it's only year 2).

even the depth/jalen hurts comment i made. it isn't the wrong decision, it just stands out. if Hurts is God again you're fine. But it can prove tricky in a 10-man where everyone has a top QB. you have a guy like Herbert or Lamar go as the 5th/6th QB off the board and they're equally capable of being QB2 or 3 on the season. the worst team in the league still has a top 10 QB all season. it's a different game. i really do try and wait at least until the 5th or 6th at QB.

Really solid. I’d play Kirk (there’s a lot of hype over the jags ecosystem, could be this season’s Philly)at flex and lean Hall over SP, but week 1 is a roll of the dice..

I think it looks fine other than kinda preferring Walker over the Breece pick which was already said. Even that could easily go either way as Breece continues to get ramp up over the season.

The QB thing in 10 teamers is tough because you can wait and get a good one but the downside is you're facing Allen, Hurts, Mahomes, Lamar, Fields, etc every week with like Watson or Dak as your guy.

Yea I had some bad QB draft luck, Lawrence was my top target and went the pick before I ended up with Akers. Elsewise he was my guy.

Plus I had Kyler last year, nobody can be worse than that

Also im a Rams fan, which explains the Akers pick.

I was so high on Akers last year that I can't stomach even wasting a bench spot on him this year.

You have to be weak somewhere so might as well be in the lowest scoring position imo. Although taking one in your 3rd to last pick is a touch late lmao.

Yahoo gave me a chit score too, said I would win zero games lol. Yahoo doesn't rate Bijan it seems. I went RB for three of my first five picks yet it said I was weak at RB lmao.

With Taylor out how much upside are we expecting out of Deon Jackson? I can play him or AJ Dillon but I have Jones and Charles Watson so I would just be praying that GB goes off.

I'd roll Jackson. I don't know enough about him to say his upside but he's got the gig until - or IF - Taylor comes back.

Taylor is a big fat red flag right now and I'm avoiding him unless the discount is massive. i'm ice cold on him and cooper kupp. my main draft is tomorrow night.

Unfortunately my draft is early so I took him in the second round. Highly regretting it. If he comes back and is solid I'll have a good season.

this is what kills me with mid/late august drafts, you were only working with what you had at the time and it's hindsight but that's painful as of today. if he comes back with a vengeance you're good but i just hate chasing risk. the game is hard enough as it is.

once i saw the cooper kupp news about him seeing a specialist i practically crossed him off my draft list. if he was falling to the third or something I'd do it, but he hasn't so far. let that be somebody else's problem. it's not like you're drafting bums instead. his ADP is still in the top what, 15 picks? i'd much rather have a clean healthy CD lamb for example.

Kupp fell to the bottom of the second in my draft last night. I actually drafted JT in the 5th, feel like that could be league winning upside

I'm in a standard scoring league and have found a solid RB base served me well. I took Sanders as my RB3 while Ridley was still on the board. Person who took Ridley has JT. Should i trade Sanders for Ridle maybe chuck in a depth Wr too? I have Keenan Allen who I am bearish on.

Hot take I'm willing to put on paper - Ridley is a hype beast right now and is being over-valued. Kirk had 1100 yards and 133 targets last year. I'm not saying Ridley's a total jobber. but Kirk might be just as valuable yet his ADP is nearly 20 picks after Calvin.

The gap is even further than that from what I saw in my drafts. Same with Keenan/Williams and Metcalf/Lockett. Those WR2s are amazing values and are going like 4 rounds later.

I've never been into Lockett but I'm with you on Keenan/Williams. Williams was damn good LY when he wasn't hurt. Keenan's just as injury prone at this point anyway. I'd rather pay less and get big Mike. At least his injury risk seems baked into his ADP.

new feature on Yahoo this year I haven't seen posted about - field goal points PER YARD. you can set it up where a 55 yard field goal is worth 5.5 points instead of being worth the same as a 50. i dig it, might try it.

Taylor is a big fat red flag right now and I'm avoiding him unless the discount is massive. i'm ice cold on him and cooper kupp. my main draft is tomorrow night.
hate to quote myself on you guys like this but it turns out Indy is openly calling it a committee / "hot hand" deal. in that case it's probably a backfield to avoid until somebody emerges.

once i saw the cooper kupp news about him seeing a specialist i practically crossed him off my draft list. if he was falling to the third or something I'd do it, but he hasn't so far. let that be somebody else's problem. it's not like you're drafting bums instead. his ADP is still in the top what, 15 picks? i'd much rather have a clean healthy CD lamb for example.
I've moved Kupp to a 4th round grade on my draft list. I want no part of him unless it's at a deep discount. This is the type of chit that ruins a season. Combined with the fact that LA is a dumpster fire waiting to happen and I'm almost completely out on him.
