Alan Wake is actually a really good game

I bought this one cheap on sale and having a absolute blast with it.

It's like Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice mixed with Tomb Raider

On chapter 5, last chapter is 6, can't wait to play for the ending boyos

I thought it was good, I played it on game pass a couple years ago. I’d give it a 7.5

Its a shame about the sequel, I know that it shouldn't devalue the original as they're different games but it does make it less appealing to me.

Same thing happened to The Last of Us.

Awards for media don't seem to carry much or any weight these days, I'm not sure if they even ever did. People don't seem to care what awards a game is given, if it doesn't look entertaining to them.

The game has yet to make profit and is still definitely far from being called a smash hit.
It was absolutely slaughtered in sales by games that weren't even nominated for awards.

Of course the Epic deal and the scandals their team are involved in aren't winning them any customers either.

It will be pretty interesting to see how they handle the Max Payne remakes, I really hope they stay true to the originals.

Im talking about the actual quality of the game which has nothing to do with sales.

I remember playing it and have no idea where you saw tomb raider or hellblade.

It was more like silent hill but not as good. The writing was a bit ass but not a bad game at all.
