I just downloaded it and played through the prologue, and an hour after. It's awesome so far! Last 007 game i played was World is not enough and that was from like 2001.
I'm really impressed with the "training" scene in this game, it reminds me of a training montage for a film, but this was done so naturally and it fits perfectly. Felt like a really unique and fluid and a very creative choice that i'll remember forever. So far i'm really impressed. Story seems great, gameplay feels great, and overall it's like playing an epic movie. I could use a good cinematic game, and i love films. Also seems written very well so far. What i've seen so far with scenes, and dialogue all is like something you'd see in a quality Bond movie. I've been playing a lot of Marvel Rivals and Baldurs Gate 3 lately so a game like this is a breath of fresh air.
I don't think you'd be disappointed to buy a console for it, i have a good feeling about it, and i'm pumped to play the rest of it

Great game. It's rough around the edges and has some undercooked elements, but what they have is more than fine and there's a lot they can do for the sequel.
The presentation, visuals are top notch. Gunplay is surprisingly solid, feels good to shoot and the game has one of the hottest female character models made lol. Honestly even the story is better than some of the more recent Daniel Craig movies.

How would you rate it overall, and how would you rate it as a bond game?

It's the best Bond simulator ever made imo lol. Completely beats Goldeneye from back in the day. This game to be felt like the "Arkham Asylum" of Bond games, they nailed the core foundation of the character and a video game. I really have high hopes for the sequel to get the 'Arkham city' treatment.

You should suss it first before saying it "looks" boring. Goldeneye looks the worst cash grab slop in existence if I was to watch a video of it.

Played it, beat it, uninstalled it. Something about it doesn't do it for me. I have 2000 (Jesus fucking Christ) hours in World of Assassination, mostly from Freelancer, and I think the problem is this game just made me want to play more Hitman. I do agree the non combat stealth story mission areas were really fun. I think what it is is there is no way to turn on 'License to Kill' mode unless you are half dead and getting gang banged by enemies (unless the particular area is supposed to be a gun fight area). Even in the tac sim you can't just go in with the silenced service pistol and do wet work.
Provided the year one DLC is free I'll reinstall the game to give it a try but don't think I'll buy any DLC for this. And I've bought every stupid suit pack for Hitman.

Do you even reading comprehension? When did in my posts did I ever say Goldeneye was a bad game? - This is what I said - "Completely beats Goldeneye from back in the day." - Notice how I never named another Bond game because Goldeneye is the standard when it comes to a Bond game... And yes, this games single player is far better than Goldeneye imo.
To make that point hit even further because you're clearly an angsty snowflake still stuck in 1990 .... I told Trojan to play this game first before he calls it boring, I think that's a relatively reasonable point to make to someone who has never even played the game?
