Looking for in ear headphones/monitors recommendations for pc gaming

Currently have one of these ones:

I hardly use it though, only for arc raiders late night when my wife is sleep. It's too bulky for my head, especially when I wear my glasses.

Looking for in ear headphones/monitors that are good quality. Recently I bought my wife airpods 4 on sale and holy smokes, it sounds amazing.

Any in ear headphones that are like airpods but for pc gaming?

Will rep

With music you can hear every single instrument used, it's nuts

I recommend using ChatGPT and YT to check reviews/comparisons. These beat AirPods or any Bluetooth headphones out of the water srs. There are $200 or $300 IEMS available if you want to spend more.

Audio engineers and audiophiles use IEMs for a reason

In-Ear Monitors (IEMs) are high-fidelity earphones used by musicians, audio engineers, and audiophiles, featuring a secure,, noise-isolating fit inside the ear canal for detailed, immersive sound. Unlike consumer earbuds, IEMs offer superior passive isolation, customizable tips, and often utilize multiple driver technologies (dynamic, planar, armature) to deliver precise audio, making them ideal for stage performances andcritical listening. Key Aspects of IEMsDesign & Fit: They consist of a main body (housing) and a nozzle that inserts into the ear canal, sealed with silicone or foam ear tips to provide excellent isolation.Usage: Originally designed for musicians to hear their own mix on stage without excessive volume, they are now popular for high-quality, personal listening.Types of Drivers:Dynamic Drivers (DD): Known for a warm, punchy, and natural bass response.Balanced Armatures (BA): Known for high precision and fast transient response.Planar Magnetic: Known for low distortion and detailed treble.Hybrid/Tribrid: Combine multiple types to leverage their respective strengths.Top Recommendations & Brands:Budget/Entry-Level: 7Hz Timeless, Moondrop Aria, CCA Phoenix.Mid-Range: Moondrop Blessing 3/Dusk, Krinar Daybreak.High-End/Pro: Shure SE846, 64 Audio U6t/U4s.Benefits: Enhanced sound clarity, hearing protection at loud events, and improved performance for musicians on stage.

I use these https://moondroplab.com/en/products/dusk

Crinacle x moondrop dusk 2

Iems are amazing for gaming. I can ramp up my pc fans to max and dont hear chit. And the sound quality is very good.

The also come with a regular audio cable, and a USB cable with the amp built in, so you can use them no problem with a smart phone, no 3rd party amp or DAC needed.

I used my IEMs on my PSP, Gameboy and CRT and it's almost bizarre how much they isolate different sounds I never even noticed before. I'm legit mad I didn't know about IEMs years before

Got them iems and tested them out

Certain sounds are better on my wife's airpods 4 but the iems quality is really good for the price

Instruments are more distinct and 3d. Vocals are crispy and feel like they're in the room with you lol

Tried a round of arc raiders, gun shots in the distance have a more noticeable pop than my headset but I didn't get a chance to turn it louder

Overall I like the iem for the distinctness and separation of sounds and vocals are clearer. But it lacks overall oomph. For 73 dollars cad I give it 9/10
