I noticed that in MK8 you cant pick the CC for multiplayer. it randomly picks between 100, 150 and 200cc and mirror. 100 is too slow, 200 is too fast and needs a new kart setup if you are going to play this mode and a 100 or 150cc kart setup will be horrible on a 200cc race. Would be nice to add the cc option back in.

a small corner piece of the tab that moves up and down to detach the joycon from the system has broke off. I noticed I was able to detach the joycon without pressing the release button. It takes a small amount of force and I can still use the system without worries the joycon will just slip out cause it won't.

I'll be sending it back to nintendo for repair though.. I haven't dropped it, I think a tiny bit of the corner tab broke off through detaching since plastic is cheap


I have an extra pair of joycons + pro controller to get be by.

welcome *******, anyone else digging the ARM global test punch? i like it, it has a learning curve and the different modes are really fun, thinking of getting it instead of mario kart but im not too sure about the longevity.

Had the switch since release and just found the thread!

Awesome console and got me back into gaming after being out of it for about 2 years.

So far got Zelda, MK8, Shovel Knight and NBA Playgrounds. All games are awesome imo.

Also the Arms demo was also badass but didn't get to try it out this past weekend so don't know about the new features that they showed.

Pokemon Direct tomorrow boyos. Hopefully they announce a Pokemon title for the Switch. It'll be harder for people to find one if they announce a new pokemon game.

The switch has been difficult to find around here. I ended up buying the Zelda bundle off of gamestops website, which will ship on the 16th. Amazon had the same price with no bundle and most places wanted to charge around $100 for shipping. nope.jpg

Anyone know the status of the Switch in terms of build numbers and such? Have the consoles undergone any changes in the past few months to make the console function better in any way?

I'm asking because there was also a lot of talk about PS4 build numbers and how some later batches were a little better in terms of overall performance.

The only thing different is the newer consoles you will find out there in retail stores (not the overpriced ones that were purchased at launch and people trying to make big profit off of)

is the left joycon signal strength is fixed, if you end up with a one of the older ones you the left joycon should be sent in for fixing if it is an issue for you (free repair including shipping both ways)

I checked brickseek.com almost every day. Finally showed up that my local walmart had 3 greys and 5 neons. Showed up and only had 1 neon. Snatched it real quick. Wouldve recommended to check that site every so often

A great E3 showing by Nintendo

- Rocket League (cross-network play with pc and xbox... holy chit here, I was hoping for it big time, love this game and on the go when traveling, rocket league will get ton of hours out of me)

- Mario Odyssey (more details and showing of the game)

- Metroid Prime 4 (no details, just announcement)

- Pokemon switch RPG (no details, just announcement)

- Yoshi game on the switch which is a fusion of yoshi wooly world and a paper mario style levels/camera (flipping to other side and such)

yea.. rocket league at only $19.99, great that they still keep the price low.. (PC can be had for about $10-12 on third party key reseller sites)

I bought it for xbox at 20 when it came out then for like 6 bucks on pc. Both platforms I dont play just because I have other chit in my backlog. I have down time at work where I can bust out RL and go ham. Reasons I love my switch.

Skipping ARMS, but did anyone pick up today?

I'm going with SPlatoon instead. I don't need a mic either. Voice chat won't work with strangers in random match making has been confirmed and I don't have enough buddies on Switch to have a squad to talk with so. Guess I'm going it solo with randoms who'll be voiceless.

Arms was delivered to my work today. I'm going in tomorrow to grab it. If it plays well with the Joy-cons I'll buy another set for local multiplayer. (Currently have Pro Controller and one set of JC)

The voice/chat system is my BIGGEST gripe with Nintendo. Sick of kids ruining my fun in life. "WHO WILL THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!?!!?!"

Put a parental control in game if you don't want your kids hearing voice chat/chatting with others.

Ill be skipping it for right now. May pick it up in the future.

I just got my switch a couple weeks ago so I still have a lot of time in Zelda left.
