hung out with a college buddy and started reminiscing about PoGo, so I redownloaded it

Feelsbadman. Ended up with over a 1000 Magikarp candy. Few decent IV's, but no perfect Magikarp. Got a few chit tier shinies out of it as well.

it stings especially bad for me because I have 4 grandfathered Gyrados that have both dragon types (Dragon Breath / Dragon Pulse) been trying forever to level those homies up

I haven't done any raids yet (just started walking eggs and catching random stuff today), but I hear the mega raids are a crapshoot. a lot of Pay 2 win, and unhappy players

Grab you one of those walkers for ten bucks on amazon as well. It’ll make sure you get your 50km for the week. The only egg pool worth a damn right now is the 10km pool from adventure sync eggs.

That’ll work. We have the single versions. You can hatch so many eggs this way. I only use my infinite incubator and can hatch a ton of eggs daily as long as I remember to open the app to hatch them. I normally open my iPad and catch while the phones is rocking back and forth. Works very well.

Currently at Level 26. Have it for my two kids who love it but I'm pretty much hooked myself lol. Any tips to level up slightly faster? I make sure I get all my daily Pokestops, streaks, have been starting to do 1 and 3 star raids (can't do 5 star yet solo). Have a bunch of what I think are decent Pokemon evolved (Dragonite, Rhyperior, Vaporeon all with good stats).

What should I be working towards shooting for Level 30?

Easiest way is becoming best friends with in game friends. Gets you 3k xp for 1 heart, 10k for 2 hearts, 50k for 3, and 100k for the last. Timing it with an egg is the way to go.

can confirm this duo one is the truth. it took a little bit to work out (for some reason I have to have google fit turned on for it to work, iPhone 5 SE & Samsung S10+)

but I'm hatching like 30+ 10km eggs a day now

Glad your purchase is working out. Make sure to have a spot open on mondays for the adventure sync rewards. 50km will give you a 10k from the adVenture sync pool which is the only pool with a decent selection of good Pokémon.

I'm so excited for tomorrow's raid day. I hopped back in my community discord and like 80% of the people from last year are still active.

Luckily most of our spots are COVID friendly - in that 10+ of us can reach a gym whilst parked in our cars

thanks for the tip about the Monday Adventure Sync reward! I gotta read more about that adventure sync pool and how it works

I feel like both of my accounts are garbage since I mainly played Gen 1. All Gyrados / Dragonite / Snorlax and none above 3500 CP pretty much

I'm literally so excited for Rhyhorn day, its ridiculous.

I have missed EVERY good CD. I don't have a single Salamance, Rhyperior, Metagross, etc.
