Bowsers Fury is Really good. Way better than a bonus game included with a remaster has any right to be.

you could play 3d world with your son.

-3D World: linear level based. basically 2d Mario transferred to the 3d plane. Has co-op. Fun jazzy soundtrack. pretty easy, especially the first half to 3/4.

-Bowsers Fury: keeps the controls, powerups, and aesthetics from 3D world. But it's now a completely open experience. Giant hub islands split up into smaller islands/levels, each with a handful of cat shines (stars essentially)

I'm torn on how I rate it in the series, although I do like it a lot. Maybe a template for a new Donkey Kong? That would be cool.

It's interesting that the current 3D mario team were the Donkey Kong Jungle Beat 2D team back in the day.

Been getting some Assassin's Creed China time. I got it for free and it's pretty well made for a side scrolling game. The background art is so nice and Shao Jun is cold af.


Got some good Glaz time in R6 ranked. Used to be a Glaz main when I started playing in 2018 but they nerfed him so bad he's almost unusable in ranked except in Coastline maybe. So it was good to use him again in another map and got MVP so I had the chance to show off my skin lol I grinded hard for that mask when I was a beginner.


Also, doggo acquired in Sakuna.

I've hoped back into Modern Warfare and god damn this is a good COD. MW gets added to my list of COD2, COD3, and COD4 as best MP COD titles, with so many in-between not even worth playing IMO.

Just finished the FF7R dlc on hard mode and 100%ed the play log. Just one more achievement left to get back to 100% achievements and fully 100% the entire game.

Finished all the Yuffie dlc trophies so now I’m completely done with FF7R.

Played a bit of the FF14 free trial. Might play that while I wait for whatever the next big release is. Was walking around in this big city place you start in and saw a bunch of cat girls dancing around with light sticks like they were at a rave. Their teds actually have jiggle physics. Is this what I’ve been missing in new mmos?

I have played MW2 and 3, just single player tho (was going for chevos). MW2 had a good single-player story and some great cut-scenes. Veteran also seems much easier on these two games than MW, based off of what I've heard.

What MW are you speaking of? COD4? I was talking recent MW. Tremendous game if you haven't given it a go. Best in the series for SP and MP since COD4 IMO.

I am still pouring tons on time into the MW MP and really enjoying it

Made a new psn account so i could check out the free trail of ff14 against after I forgot my old account details and I’ve been checking it out for the last few days. Played gladiator for a little bit and then switched to Lancer. Always thought dragoons were cool so I think thats what I’m gonna focus on. Playing with the controller is pretty weird but its getting better as I get used to it.

I just completed Cyberpunk 2077 - and I am sooooo happy to delete it off my computer. Look the game is gorgeous - probably the best graphics of any game ever. But wow you could tell how so many elements were just underdeveloped, and honestly the main story was like a 5/10 at best. It became pretty clear the Witcher 3 leads weren't involved.
I ended up completing the game out of a sense of obligation - I spent the money on it so I felt like I had to see it through. If it had maybe an additional year or so of development, maybe it would have been a better experience, but honestly I just couldn't feel drawn into the game.

I desperately need a fun game to clean my pallete. I remember earlier in the year playing Shadow of the Colossus and it felt like I was doing homework. After completing it I jumped on Days Gone and instantly was enjoying myself.


I have Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice as the next item on my backlog, but may download Sea of Thieves just for some lulzy fun first.

Death's Door was legit good - about 14 hours into it now after "beating" the game now I'm doing the extra stuff for the 'true ending.'
