Played it about 2 hours last night. Not sure how I feel about it yet. Kinda reminds me of how I felt playing the lords of the fallen remake. Idk how to describe it but it feels weird to play.

Do you encounter each boss in order or can you choose which order you encounter them in? Love the froggin staff weapon! I think I’m going yo blow a load when I get the parry ability. This thing is going to shine . I d need finish up ghost of sushima

Im playing the ps5 version. Of ghost and I am almost completed all of act 3. My question is when I do will it go to act 4? Or must I purchase it separately still.

I've beaten Ghost of Tsushima, game is a masterpiece and one of my favs all time.

I bought Wukong last night and downloaded it, will play it today. Sort of reminded me of GoT especially with the skill tree/stances.

In for updated. Loved Ghost of Tsushima and played Rise of the Ronin and liked that too. Thinking of picking this one up to give myself from Baldurs Gate.

From the getgo it’s hard but a hard I can work with and enjoy . I like to study and figure out their moves and be patient. Perseverance that pays off as you don’t loose your stats etc if die .

The protagonist is kind of a dick. Srs. You play as a snide and smug ass hole who dares enemies in the game to come at him. Even during the in game dialogue this monkey is an ass hole. Defiant af!

Thanks for confirming this is 100% a skip for me. I almost smashed my controller on the normal difficulty in Ragnarok after trying to beat the Valkyrie queen & Berserker king for about 8-10 hours apiece. I'm way too impatient and chit at gaming to fuk with anything with a Soulslike difficulty.

Missed this. And no just the first two bosses end you in 1-2 hits. I get the big blue guy down to 1/2 health by hitting him hundreds of times then one shot you. It’s just how it is in this game. I finally got passed chapter 2 where you unlock your Parry. But took me all day. I wasted a day but it’s kind of a rewarding feeling. The type I used to get after a workout where you can barely lift your buff cut ripped chisled arms to take a post workout shower.

The bosses are hard while the minions have been easy and practice. Just you will have a tough time with some bosses but the combat is too much fun and it’s too visually engaging that you’ll want to keep trying to beat the game. It’s something you gotta judge with your own eyes imo, I hated Elden ring. This I’m loving!

i just started tonight

game was crashing after first fight when it shows the 1st chapter so i updated my drivers, hope all is good now but the spells are pretty sick. bout to fight the first guy for the 3rd time cause the crashes

I beat the Elden Ring DLC on NG++. I don't think this game will be that hard compared to it.

All right I discovered there's big ass realistic spiders later in the game and returned it. IDGAF I don't wnna deal with that brahs. I got bad arachnophobia on some games and this joins the list, others I can handle but I'm good on this.

First boss was fun tho

Made it to Act 2 and killed some of the side bosses on act 2. Game's fun, but here's my honest gripes rn.

1) No map. Act 1 I had a good sense of where to go, and where I've been. But Act 2 has felt so pharking confusing. I've wasted like 45 minutes running around trying to get to something I intentionally skipped - or to get to what's intended to be next.

2) Invisible walls. There's a lot of cliffs/rocks that you might think you could jump onto but can't.

Other than that, great game so far IMO. Cool opening, interesting story, great graphics, multiple combat styles. I'd say it's worth buying.Something tells me you definitely didn't like the Skyrim spiders lol.

Also learned I can't get a certain item now because I didn't have a certain boss hit a certain wail before I killed it. WTF.

Nvm you can use the bighead special attack to get into the wall.

Oh yeah bro those Skyrim spiders in that cave were a big nope from me, I know exactly the ones you are talking about bc I tried playing Skyrim but I'm not dealing with a big ass tarantula running at me in a cave.

Hogwarts too is another game that I wanted to play and said fuk no after seeing the spiders in the game. Other games like Bloodborne though I can handle (even though I ran past the Nightmare of Mensis room full of them hanging, ngl) and it's one of my favorite games of all time.

Spiders IRL I can handle I just kill them onsite, luckily I don't live in an area where there's big ones. It's specifically realistic looking ones that are wolf/tarantula type I just cannot do. It's immediate physical full body chills and wanting to look away/get away ASAP, it's hard to explain to someone that doesn't have arachnophobia.

It's a shame cause this game looks really awesome, maybe one day I'll try and push past it but I prefer not to at this time lol.



Also doesn't help that I was bitten by a brown recluse IRL, made my leg turn black and necrotic [ded srs], and took 3 months to heal. There's an evolutionary fear of spiders I think many people have.

Bought it and downloaded last night. $65 is wild but I know a must play when I see it. Ive heard nothing but good things, and Seems like a GOTY.

Performance on PS5 must be abysmal if there still aren't reviews up.

I love boss fights I have 7 god of war plats. Boss fights are where this game shines. You gotta study them without using a game guide, then defeat them.

I refunded it for now, it's a great game with great bosses but so far for me everything in between the bosses seems boring. Traversing sucks, too many invisible walls, no map system that I'm aware of.

I'm kinda bored running around exploring and fighting 1 or 2 random plebs in between bosses. I'm not sure I play long enough sessions for this game, if I have an hour to play I don't wanna spend 30 minutes doing nothing and 30 minutes fighting a boss. Idk the gameplay loop ain't for me. If there was some fun mobs to fight here and there I think I'd enjoy it better, but it's literally like 1 or 2 random guys that barely even fight back

I think for me personally I like the 3rd person action games with focus on hordes instead of bosses. Dynasty warriors style, where I can just demolish waves of hundreds of enemies.

I wish I did have the patience tho as wukong really is gorgeous in every aspect of it's design and the graphics are wild

That's pretty much like dark souls or demon souls.

Do you have to start all the way from the beginning of the stage and make your way to the boss again if you die? That's the one part I hate the most with the Souls games.

It's far enough that the first time I died to a boss I was like "oh man I gotta do all that again Fukkkkk"
