The only people this may persuade is ones who already have multiple platforms and think the PS5 pro price can go towards a GPU upgrade. And that's fine, ps5 pro isn't meant for everyone, Sony may be happy if it does 10 million sales total before 2029.

$700 for the pro is hella steep. But as someone who hasn't upgraded from a PS4 to a PS5 yet, I think its a good jump. Or if I can get a cheap PS5 from someone who's looking to upgrade to a pro, that could be a good deal.

"yet instead of developing games based around that" - is exactly why this presentation failed. Sony DO develop their games based on the PS5 and they look amazing already. It's why the presentation was poor because they only used their own amazing looking games in the comparison so the differences weren't drastic. They cannot force multiplatform devs to make games just based on a PS5 alone, and those games would have been the ideal ones to actually show the differences. I guess they didn't want to trash other companies in their launch trailer.
